USS Gannicus

STATUS: Decommissioned CLASS: Sovereign-class (modified)

The USS Gannicus represents a refined take on the Sovereign-class line. Its design combined decades of Advanced Starship Design Bureau research into a sleeker, more tolerant warp-field profile capable of higher cruising velocities. Following the Borg incident, production timelines were accelerated from a projected 10-year build cycle to roughly five years, making the Gannicus a key example of rapid-response Starfleet engineering. Archive compiles span from 2006 through 2016, including the AWLSHGA, A Day on the Job, and Good Intentions series.

"Mil rushed his way to the office. Nodding at Lt Dodge and Ensign Nobel as he entered. He grabbed a few Padds and started reading them.\ Stopping in the door to the office he turned to Lt Dodge. \ "Tristan, looking at the scans Dr Nobels ankle is getting better, can we strap him up and assign him to Sickbay?" He looked at Tristan and then across to Nobel."

"had to be made. "we have dropped out of warp. There seems to have been a ... power loss in the warp core." "We have What!?" Kestra spouted as she jumped up out of her chair. "We have to have warp back now! We will be sitting ducks without warp and the nimitz would have to be in battle longer than she may be able to handle." Kestra"

STATUS: Mothballed

All but destroyed by what is believed to be a rogue SFI vessel in 2408. The ship was mothballed pending repairs and her crew was reassigned to the Nova-class USS Mithrandir-A.

"Just as things seemed to be wrapping up the Captain brought up another issue that he had obviously just thought of. "Oh, gentlemen, I understand that the dock engineers are nearing the completion of the repairs and upgrading. From twenty-three hundred or thereabouts, the ship is going to be powered up completely and the ship will be fully accessible."

USS Rosenante βš”

STATUS: Decommissioned CLASS: Privateer

A controversial privateer ship designed under the Chimera Directive for the Doenitz regime. Represents one of the darkest chapters of the civil war period, involving ships specifically designed to operate outside normal Starfleet regulations.

"Tom had finished his orders and was waiting for the rest of the team to meet with his squad. The door to his right and left slid open suddenly. The room erupted in bright Energy discharges of weapons fire. Tom barely had time to yell "look out" before he was hit in his shoulder and dropped. He grimaced in pain and was sweating. He fired and took out an enemy solider before he passed out."

"The doors of the turbolift opened onto a bridge bustling with activity. Seamus looked around trying to locate Lt. Tagon. ~I've heard enough about his species so he shouldn't be too hard to spot.~ he thought to himself. ~Ah.There he is. I have never in my life met, or come across, a Brikkarian.~ Seamus moved across the bridge deck and stopped within a few paces of Lt."

The facility played a crucial role during the Federation Civil War and continues to serve as a vital center for fleet operations.

"Rich tapped his fingers for a moment. "We received very few commandments from Starfleet on this, but that was one of them. I can contact Starfleet Command and talk to Admiral Jopek on the matter, but I would start planning to have your mission with the Spectre as your primary transportation." "Sir, what about carrying said shuttle onboard Spectre?"

USS Exeter

STATUS: Decommissioned

A workhorse of the reconstruction era, the USS Exeter compiled an impressive record with 75 documented missions over 14 months of continuous operation (2420-2421). The ship's investigative prowess was demonstrated during the famous "Murder on the Exeter Express" case - a six-month operation spanning 24 compiles that became legendary in Starfleet Academy case studies. The Exeter also handled dimensional crossover incidents and pursued zealots in "The Flames of Purity" mission, showcasing versatility across investigation, first contact, and tactical scenarios.

"β€œAsh!” Ailynn called, quickening her pace and catching up. β€œThank you for this, I would have got hold of the program and run it on our decks on the Exeter, but some dippy mare has booked out the entire deck for some reason.” Ashlyn giggled. β€œBe nice you."

USS Soval

STATUS: Decommissioned

A vessel that confronted difficult moral choices during the rebuilding period. The Soval's year-long "Lesser Evil" mission (2414-2415) represented one of the fleet's most challenging ethical operations in the post-civil war era. With 22 documented compiles spanning multiple years, the ship maintained consistent operations through complex moral and tactical scenarios, demonstrating the kind of nuanced decision-making required during the Federation's reconstruction period.

"Dan was very curious as to why the Second Officer had called a meeting, particularly given the personnel he had invited. The Chief Engineer's curiosity was quickly satisfied as Commander Jackson got right to the point. ~The Captain and First Officer eh? Not sure I'm qualified for that evaluation, but I can certainly report within the bounds of my expertise. Can't I?"

USS Mystique βš”

STATUS: Decommissioned

An enigmatic vessel that operated during the tense pre-civil war period of 2406. The Mystique's intensive operational tempo is evidenced by 37 compiles in a single year, including the cryptic "All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray" mission arc and mysterious "Harvest" operations that produced four compiles in a single day. The ship's name proved prophetic, as its missions often involved operations requiring discretion and specialized crew capabilities, including Betazoid telepaths who could navigate the complex political landscape of the era.

"Naraht was enthralled with seeing the stars at warp speed from deep space and never seemed to tire of peering out of the starboard view window of the shuttle. He had dreamed of getting this close to the stars ever since he had gotten interested in old Samuel's stories about traveling in space. He could feel the warp engines throbbing with power as they sped between the stars."

USS Firebrande

STATUS: Decommissioned

One of the original vessels of the 52nd Fleet, the Firebrande served during the early integration period when the fleet was still establishing its multi-species operational doctrine. The ship's diverse crew roster included Klingon warriors from noble houses serving alongside Betazoid empaths and Human officers - a microcosm of the Federation's inclusive ideals. Though complete mission records have been lost to time, personnel files suggest the Firebrande specialized in cultural exchange and first contact scenarios where its unique crew composition proved invaluable.

"Remae was enjoying a nice cup of tea when. "I'm sorry to disturb you captain but I wanted to thank you again, it's a real chance for me to be in Starfleet again." Remae looked up and it was the new Assistant Security Officer. "Have a seat, please, call me Remae, Rick." For a moment, the Bajoran took another sip of tea and then said."

USS Shenandoah

STATUS: Decommissioned

A ghost ship of the archives, the USS Shenandoah exists in fleet records but her complete operational history has been lost to time. Named for the historic Shenandoah Valley, she likely served during the 52nd Fleet's earliest days before digital record-keeping became standard practice. What we know is limited to personnel records and the simple fact that she existed, served, and was eventually retired. Like the valley for which she was named, the Shenandoah represents a quiet strength - ships that did their duty without fanfare, whose crews wrote history in actions rather than words.
