USS Gannicus

STATUS: Decommissioned CLASS: Sovereign-class (modified)

The USS Gannicus represents a refined take on the Sovereign-class line. Its design combined decades of Advanced Starship Design Bureau research into a sleeker, more tolerant warp-field profile capable of higher cruising velocities. Following the Borg incident, production timelines were accelerated from a projected 10-year build cycle to roughly five years, making the Gannicus a key example of rapid-response Starfleet engineering. Archive compiles span from 2006 through 2016, including the AWLSHGA, A Day on the Job, and Good Intentions series.

"Ryan made his way to the side of the room with four misaligned relays and began to apply force to one of them. The metallic cylindrical relay would not budge at first attempt but with his determination coupled with his malice for things not going the way he planned the first relay finally moved into place."

The Nimitz challenged Admiral Doenitz after a month-long disappearance from official channels. She later survived Romulan and Tal Shiar ambushes to return to Geneva. Destroyed during the Battle for the Mars Defense Perimeter in 2407, along with USS Champlain.

"Casely considered that for a moment. "Mr. Thlax, who would you trust to run the bridge in my absence if I took you wtih me? I think you'd best stay here. Who would you suggest as loyal and strong enough to go with me to the Nimitz?" asked Paul. Paul nodded, "Monitor communications between ships and try get into the Nimitz instraship communications as well. If you can find officers who might be..."

"2 hours after his shift ended he finally was able to make it to his quiet and relaxing quarters. Once inside he kept the lights off, he had been blinded After the shower, Jaret returned to the cozy living room wearing nothing but his skivvies. He layed upon the couch and grabbed a couch pillow and placed it under his head. "Computer, play random songs from personal playlist at level 4."

"Calvin woke up from his deep sleep exactly at 0700 hours like he normally does every morning. His internal biological clock seemed like it would never change. There were days when he tried to sleep in late, but his body forced him out of bed anyways. He rolled over to see the love of his life still sleeping quietly. He gave her a small kiss on the forhead softly trying not to wake her up."

USS Champlain ⚔

STATUS: Destroyed at Mars Defense Perimeter

Destroyed during the Battle for the Mars Defense Perimeter in 2407, along with the USS Nimitz. The loss of life was horrendous, but the 52nd Fleet was ultimately victorious.

"Healer in the Tower "Tell me Lieutenant, what do you make of this Maltorian business?" Shrekt looked at the officer across from her desk and said, "It is a troubling thing. But we go where we are ordered and execute our duty to the best of our ability. I do not care for the source of our data and the confusing briefing in which it was delivered."

— Healer In The Tower, USS Dennison, 2019

USS Rosenante ⚔

"Kahila was checking her list of the officers who had not yet made counseling appointments, having made the decision to leave another message with them, when she received a call. She tapped her combadge, saying, "Lono here." "Orde to Lono. Sorry to bother you, but it looks like I'll need to postpone our lunch an hour or so. Someone's coming in on a transport that I have to go and greet." ~Oh chaos."

The Cochrane Research Facility was later transferred to a Meredith Class Starship, which was renamed USS Cochrane. The facility first discovered the Subspace River phenomenon before the transfer.

"Tahl went back to the monitor. After a qucik search he saw something else that made it all make sense, in a sick, nonsensicle way. The computer was running the simulation with all of the characters, save one. There was nobody in the character of Sinia. She had been eradicated from the the problem with that was that she was the one who found and disarmed the bomb."

USS Illuminar

STATUS: Decommissioned

The USS Illuminar stands as one of the most prolific vessels in the archive with 109 documented compiles spanning 25 months of continuous deep space operations (2420-2422). The ship confronted phenomena ranging from Q entities to mirror universe incursions to the philosophical mysteries of "The Uncaring Stars." Her crew's encounters with corruption, parallel realities, and existential threats demonstrated exceptional scientific and tactical capabilities. The Illuminar's final mission, "An End and A Beginning," marked not just her decommissioning but the close of an era of intensive scientific exploration.

USS Exeter

STATUS: Decommissioned

A workhorse of the reconstruction era, the USS Exeter compiled an impressive record with 75 documented missions over 14 months of continuous operation (2420-2421). The ship's investigative prowess was demonstrated during the famous "Murder on the Exeter Express" case - a six-month operation spanning 24 compiles that became legendary in Starfleet Academy case studies. The Exeter also handled dimensional crossover incidents and pursued zealots in "The Flames of Purity" mission, showcasing versatility across investigation, first contact, and tactical scenarios.

"Answering the call of the helm, the Exeter began closing to transporter range of the asteroid base. The Captain addressed orders to the entire bridge crew, bringing their focus to their shared mission. "Ensign M'Rurrh, give me a concentrated scan in the area, see if you can't pinpoint the location of the Enemy Saber classes." "Aye, sir. No trace in the immediate area."

— The Flames of Purity, USS Exeter, 2021

USS Soval

STATUS: Decommissioned

A vessel that confronted difficult moral choices during the rebuilding period. The Soval's year-long "Lesser Evil" mission (2414-2415) represented one of the fleet's most challenging ethical operations in the post-civil war era. With 22 documented compiles spanning multiple years, the ship maintained consistent operations through complex moral and tactical scenarios, demonstrating the kind of nuanced decision-making required during the Federation's reconstruction period.

"Tom entered the Sick bay area. He looked around for Dr. Noah. Any medical data might help explain the bizarre situation they were now in. "Dr. Noah, are you around?" Tom asked. "The Captain has requested a detailed report of each department's current status" Jackson simply stated. Tom listened to his colleague's report. "Thanks Doc."

— The Lesser Evil, USS Soval, 2021

USS Mystique ⚔

STATUS: Decommissioned

An enigmatic vessel that operated during the tense pre-civil war period of 2406. The Mystique's intensive operational tempo is evidenced by 37 compiles in a single year, including the cryptic "All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray" mission arc and mysterious "Harvest" operations that produced four compiles in a single day. The ship's name proved prophetic, as its missions often involved operations requiring discretion and specialized crew capabilities, including Betazoid telepaths who could navigate the complex political landscape of the era.

""Then we contact someone and send them to fetch her and make certain that she makes it there." stated the OPS man. "Do we know where she is now?" Before the CO could speak, the comm chirped to life and a female voice came through clearly. =/\=Bridge.=/\= it said. The urgency evident in the tone. =/\=Please respond."

— Return to Camelot, USS Mystique, 2019

USS Firebrande

STATUS: Decommissioned

One of the original vessels of the 52nd Fleet, the Firebrande served during the early integration period when the fleet was still establishing its multi-species operational doctrine. The ship's diverse crew roster included Klingon warriors from noble houses serving alongside Betazoid empaths and Human officers - a microcosm of the Federation's inclusive ideals. Though complete mission records have been lost to time, personnel files suggest the Firebrande specialized in cultural exchange and first contact scenarios where its unique crew composition proved invaluable.

"The meeting was ended and Remae was heading back to his ship to prepare for tomorrow's departure. before he walked out the large room, he was intercepted "I would like to come, sir. I don't get to fly that much on the station...", he said with a strange smile. "Sure thing Ensign, come on board by 0700 tomorrow, that's when we'll be departing," nodded Remae, as he headed out the door."

— Phoenix, USS Firebrande, 2019

USS Shenandoah

STATUS: Decommissioned

A ghost ship of the archives, the USS Shenandoah exists in fleet records but her complete operational history has been lost to time. Named for the historic Shenandoah Valley, she likely served during the 52nd Fleet's earliest days before digital record-keeping became standard practice. What we know is limited to personnel records and the simple fact that she existed, served, and was eventually retired. Like the valley for which she was named, the Shenandoah represents a quiet strength - ships that did their duty without fanfare, whose crews wrote history in actions rather than words.
