(USS Illuminar – Deck 2 XO’s office – Ensign Torek, Operations – 1600)



As the day moved on, Torek kept taking notes as to the expectations of his
position here on the USS Illuminar.  He would meet with other members of
the department in the next couple of days, but now it was time for him to
meet with the EX to learn, as she said, the peculiarities of the Illuminar.



He took the stairs down to deck 2 and found her office.  Standing outside,
he activated the door chime and waited to be granted permission to enter.
