(USS Pasteur - Flight Deck - Pilot Lt. Arthur ‘Snoopy’ Corday - 1148)


Waiting for the window in the storm to open had drained Arthur and he had managed to doze off. A touch on his shoulder stirred him and he quickly sat up.


Dr. Solice looked at him, concern still in her eyes. “Lt. Corday, are you feeling better?  Do you think you can fly us home?”


Arthur stretched his neck and shoulders that had tightened up a bit from his position in his seat.   “I’ve been worse,” the pilot said, not exactly feeling as positive as he tried to sound. “And I can’t imagine a scenario in which I cannot fly.”


Vic joined them and chuckled at Snoopy’s statement.


“The ion storm has passed,” Solice said.  “Do you think you can get us back to Illuminar?”


Montero chuckled again, "Do bears shit... err defecate in the woods Ma'am.  I can fly the Hillary through a needle and leave room on the sides if you want Commander," Montero bragged.  "I'll get her home safe and sound."


"You up for this Snoopy?" he asked


Snoopy gave him a weak but wicked grin and said, “Yiu know me. I can always get it up. If you excuse the parlance.”


"If nothing else Ma'am, let me go get the Hillary set," Montero said.

“I’ll be ready in five minutes,” Arthur said, as his fingers already began to move over the controls.


“Let's get the shuttles decoupled and start going back to our way.  I will get communications back in order to get sickbay alerted.”


Arthur looked over at her and said, “Comms are already back, Commander. We’re being hailed by the Illuminar.”


The drawl of Andy Taylor’s voice came on. =^=Illuminar to the away team. Report.”
