(Qo’nos - Great Hall - CSec/Tac - Lt Commander T’Mur - 0813)


T’Mur primary responsibility at the start of the raucous was the protection of Sekal.  When the table tipped over she was at his back, weapon drawn, poised for combat.  The Klingons had hustled to the protection of their Chancellor and as they attempted to escort him out the door exploded behind Dagon, who registered the force and shrapnel with an “Ow.”


There had been no other shots fired, which led her to the assumption that this had all been a trap to lure someone, most likely the Chancellor, out the door.  With that failure she presumed that there might be a more frontal assault.


Suddenly Pe’tah fired two shots at the ceiling.  With a screech a figure fell to the floor.  T’Mur recognized it immediately as Tholian.  There didn’t seem to be any further signs of attack so she moved over to the body.  The floor was starting to pool with the yellow liquid that appeared to be Tholian blood.  The creature was still alive.  The injuries could be life threatening if left untreated.


“Doctor,” she looked over at Solice, “we could use your expertise here.”

The next move was where Setan had been standing.  She pulled out a tricorder and began to scan the gory scene.  There was green blood splattered out from the location of where Setan’s body had been.  All that remained were pieces of tissue and bone scattered about in the pattern of the explosion.  Reaching out she picked up a piece of green, slimy body matter and scanned it with interest.


Whatever caused this was internal.  It was going to require a great deal more investigation than can be provided now.  She turned to find their science officer.


“Lt. Lanista,” she said, “you think we can collect some of this…” she indicated to the mess around them, “and analyze it?  Maybe we can find a cause.”
