(Q'onoS - Imperial City - Hall of Warriors - Council Member Pe'tah - 1121)
Pe'tah watched with pride as Ariel Trei walked the River. She endured the pain of the pain sticks well. She bore her soul and fears for all to hear. He could feel the burn in his belly as he remembered his out Rite, and wanted to roar with his approval of her success. The measure of a warrior was not only in their lineage but in their heart.
He watched as she struggled to maintain her feet after the final application of the pain sticks and roared his appreciation of the effort. He looked over to see tlha'nISta' displaying her war shield and banging it in her own display of approval. Seeing such a warrior sent a burning to his loins he hadn't felt in a long time.
True warrior women were few and far between in the Klingon world. But this one... she was different. Not for the first time, he wondered what it would be like to mate with her, and found himself smiling at the damage to his quarters it would make.
Then he returned his attention to the event at hand. Others went over to congratulate Trei for her achievement. He also made a similar gesture.
"Ariel Trei," he called to her, "you've have shown your heart as that of a warrior. I had once offered you to be part of the House of Nogga, but to be awarded a House of your own is much more impressive gesture. Still, the House of Mogh and the House of Nogga shall always be connected, I believe."
(reply Trei)
Pe'tah stepped back and let others give their congratulations. He moved towards tlha'nISta and bowed his head.
“Lieutenant, I trust I will see you at tonight’s celebration?” he asked.
(reply Lanista)
With that he turned and left the hall.
(reply Trei, Lanista)
