(Qo’nos - Diplomatic Quarters-  SFI Office - SFI - Lt. Michael Weston - 0955)


“Why, that certainly a weird place to holster your phaser,” Quinna said in a voice soft enough that only he could here easily.


Michael smiled back at her and replied, “Well, ma’am, that just makes it easier to access.”


She led him to corner for some privacy and asked, “Are you ok?”


Michael shrugged, “Other than going out of my mind with all of the politics, both with the Klingons and within our group, I’d say I’m ding pretty well.  I haven’t killed anyone… yet.”



Quinna’s touch send shivers through Michaels body and made goosebumps appear on his arm.  He held onto her hand, keeping the contact on his arm.


 “Don’t you think it is odd that the Council adjourned for the day when it is still early in the morning?”


“Considering all that occurred,” he said, “it was probably for the best.  There’s been a major shift in the government of the Klingons in the last half hour.  I’m pretty sure it had not been their ..”original intent.  That was what we had been discussing before Galk’s arrival


“Any place we can do so you can give me a full report,”  Quinna said suggestively.  “After all, if I am going to be here longer, I certainly need to be fully brought in.”


Michael started to walk backwards holding onto Quinna’s finger tips. “I think we can accommodate your needs, doctor,” he replied, equally as suggestive.



The sudden outburst from Ambassador McKenzie caught his attention, and he dropped his head.  Reaching up he stroked Quinna’s cheek.  “But firs, I have to avert an interplanetary incident.”  He reached over and kissed her gently on the cheek, “Hold my place, right there.”



Releasing her hands he headed over to see what the raucous was now.
