(Qo'nos- Diplomatic Quarters - Minister Pe'tah - 0949)


"Gentlemen,” Sekal said as he moved to the center of the room, ”and ladies … the Ambassador is quite correct."



"Councilor Pe'tah,” he said looking at the Klingon, “you have my thanks for your timely intervention, however it would appear you have internal Klingon matters to discuss with your compatriots."



Pe’tah nodded and smiled.  ~Indeed we do.~



He then turned his gaze on Galk and Trei. "While internal House and Council matters within the Empire are not within my control I expect you to uphold the mission presented to this crew by StarFleet Command until its completion if you intend to continue serving in the fleet. Is my meaning clear?"



"Yes Captain." Galk did not sound pleased but he had given his word and Sekal knew he would keep it. He turned back to Pe'tah.



"There is another meeting room across the hall if you wish to continue your discussion. Unfortunately both discussions taking place are incompatible and should be separated. Once again you have my thanks."



“As you have the thanks of the Klingon people,” Pe’tah replied.  “Perhaps there is still time for our people to understand each other.”



He turned to leave then turned back and stepped over to Lanista.  His narrowed and snarl appeared on his mouth, “I hope that I will see you at Trei’s ceremony.”

He turned and led Trei and Galk out.
