Tegian chuckled, somewhat uncomfortably.  "I see.  It's probably healthier
that you don't.  If we're going to drop rank designations, then please call
me Tegian, Ma'am.  Because I don't know your last name and I feel
uncomfortable calling you T'mur if you're going to call me Mr. Pex."
Tegian smiled.


T'mur asked about the origin of French fries.  Tegian shrugged and
laughed.  "We might have to ask someone who actually grew up on Earth.  I
think asking a table full of nonhumans about Earth food is terribly funny."
