Mission: Space was cool before it mattered

Stardate: 2446.04.25


(Cheron CX-01- Interior - ACEO Lieutenant Ethan Miller - 1457)



“What’s, uh, the accident rate on these things?” Heinrich asked.


" Minimal, to be honest if you knew how sensitive components on a
transporter padd were you would space jump instead of using the
transporter." Ethan said.


“Oh.” Dr. Kruze said



" You'll be fine. Let's finish getting you suited up."  Ethan stated to
kruze.

After suiting up Ethan made sure the tools he needed were attached to his
EV suit.




“Switching to main engines, cutting warp in three…two…one…cutting
warp.” Trinity said





Ethan looked at Hammerfield and Kruze.

" It's time." He said making his way back to the airlock of the cheron and
activated the helmet on his EV suit.

 “Coming about, vector as programmed, coming in hot at one point five. Away
team make ready.”  Trinity said her voice could be heard inside his helmet.
He glanced out the tiny window of the airlock and could see the mining
facility about 200 meters out.


He turned to Kruze.

" When this door opens the magnetic boots will keep you grounded. Since the
airlock is depressurized the only thing you have to do is kick off the
ground. Once that happens the suits thrusters will activate and then we'll
be on our way. "  He looked at the computer mounted on the left forearm of
his suit.

" Should take 12 seconds to reach the surface of the facility."

Ethan turned to Janice.

" Open the door."

As the door opened Ethan looked down at the floor of the airlock chamber.



“Ladies and gentlemen thank you for flying Frost Airways.” Trinity said.


Ethan standing beside Kruze said.

" Let's go. "


Ethan kicked off the floor and as he did the thrusters on his suit
activated , propelling him at rapid speeds towards the mining facility.
