EXETERRPG: (1 1444) Nurse CPO Ewan McDonald

Mission: Space was cool before itmattered

Day: 1

Stardate: 2446.04.25

 

(Cheron CX-01-interior – Nurse –CPO – Ewan McDonald - 1444)






“I find that getting in as much preparation beforehand helps me.We can go get everything lined up and ready to go as soon as people getonboard. Prep the bunk rooms for any critical casualties. Wont be long till wearrive.”

 

Ewan nodded and stood up.

 

“Yes sir.” 

"We are about twenty minutes out and according to ourpreliminary scans from long ranged sensors…..." 

The door shut behind Ewan cutting off the conversation as he moved throughthe living area into the sleeping quarters area. There were two crew rooms oneach side of the corridor with a bathroom further in. He moved into he rightside room and looked around.

 

“Okay we can separate the miners to the two rooms. Depending on how sickthey are we can use one for critical and one for not so critical.”

 

He stepped closer to the bunks and looked at the space inside the topand bottom one. He knew that he was talking to himself, but he had found thatspeaking things out loud helped ideas solidify in his mind. 

 

“Very critical should go in the bottom bunk as there is no way we aregoing to get access to the patient if something goes wrong up there.”

 

He sat on the bottom one and looked distance from the bed to the floor.

 

“If it all goes pear shaped then we will have to drag them onto the floorthere is no way I am going to do CPR in there.”

 

He glanced around the bathroom and nodded.

 

“If they are mobile, they can decontaminate in the bathroom which willbe good.”

 

He moved out of the sleeping area and stepped into the aft area whichhad the transport pad. 

 

“Yep that’s enough space.”

 

He turned back and headed toward the forward area. 

 

“Better replicate new cloths as we will be dumping the ones that they arewearing.”



He quickly used the replicator to make enough generic clothing for allthe miners and left them on the circular table before entering the cockpit.

 

" You and Lieutenant Hammerfield get to the miners, I'll repair theventilation system and clear the corridor. Once it's safe, make your way to theairlock Lieutenant Frost beams you guys over. I'll repel through theventilation system as fast as I can and make my way down to the airlock levelthen beam over after you all. " 

 

Ewan paused at the door looking at the others in conversation.

 
~Well then, if you don’t need me I’ll just go and pootle off and make sometea then~
