“Can we fix the venting system remotely?” she suggested quickly then shook
her head and pointed at the screen, “No no... looks here. The radiation has
fried that all up,” Lieutenant Hammerfield mentioned.

 Ethan nodded his head.

" I mean these are only the preliminary scans , but the numbers seem pretty
spot on."





“The only way we are venting anything in there is getting hands on. We are
going to have to get onboard,” she pointed to the screen, “Docking ports
are going to be here and here...”

" Yet another issue, the docking ports aren't compatible with ours, a
square peg- round hole scenario. " Ethan said as he pointed to the
schematics of the facility.





“Really? I guess the station is a bit old,” she folded her arms over a bit,
“Looks like we do this the old fashioned way then. We will need to EVA over
to see what we can do from the outside to bypass the radiation. How many
suits do we have onboard?”


 Ethan was hit with a massive sensation of disbelief.

" Ummm we have 8 suits total, but obviously we all aren't going …are we ? "
He asked nervously.

Ethan placed both his hands on top of his head and blew out a puff of air
as his anxiety reached an all time high.

" I…I can fix the ventilation system, but somebody needs to secure the
miners and possibly assess any injuries. " He said and looked at the Chief
medical officer.

Ethan took a deep breath and pushed past his fear. Knowing that being
afraid wasn't going to save any lives.

" Our options are limited. In a perfect world we wouldn't have to do this,
but the EV suits onboard have a Polarix trajectory guidance computer built
in. We set the target and the suit does the rest." Ethan pointed to the
screen.

" If we land here we can enter through this hatch, the magnetized
construction of the Ev suits will keep us grounded."

" You and Lieutenant Hammerfield get to the miners, I'll repair the
ventilation system and clear the corridor. Once it's safe, make your way to
the airlock Lieutenant Frost beams you guys over.
I'll repel through the ventilation system as fast as I can and make my way
down to the airlock level then beam over after you all. "

Ethan explained and did his best to not look at Trinity, he didn't want her
to see that he was beyond terrified at this point.
