"Just a couple of few more things," said Williams. "I guess the time-old question. Why did you want to join Starfleet?"

Roger sighed inwardly. How many times had he been asked that?

"As you know from my file, my parents were in Starfleet. They died in the line of duty. I felt a drive inside to follow in their footsteps and finish what they started."

"Okay. I can understand that and why did you want to work in security compared to other departments?" said Williams.

"My parents were engineers, so I chose that field when I was accepted into the academy. It didn't take long to see I didn't have the aptitude for it. Growing up I boxed and learned martial arts, so that, and my size, made it easy to choose security."

"And my last question. Do you have any questions for me? Anything you need or want from me as your department head?" said Williams.

"I suppose I should, sir, but right now I don't," said Roger. "I'm just ready to get to work."
