Ire new that he was going to be running a bit late for his shift but asit was mostly him in his office doing paperwork he had allowed himself a littleflexibility.

 

~I will just make it up at the end of the day. As long as the hours arecovered~

 

He looked out at the nebula through the large view ports in the mess hall.

 

~I hope we are not going to here for too much longer? Three days havealready been a long time~

 

He felt a slight pang of sympathy for Greta at the helm shift aftershift not going anywhere.

 

~At least we are not getting shot at which is good~

 

He looked down at his breakfast and new that he would need to get somegym time today.

 

~It would not be good to be an out of shape chief of security. Some of thoseJeffries tube hatches look very small~

 

He picked at his breakfast as his mind wandered.
