(USS Exeter – Starlight Lounge - 2O/CEO, Lt. Cmdr. Keira Merek - 2155)

Keira's shoulders still felt tingly from her performance and the applause
she received. She placed the large hair pin on the table and swirled her
glass of brandy before sitting down and taking a seat.

She sipped some of her drink, and before the next performer came up,
someone had approached her table from behind. Her hand drifted over to the
hair pin as an impromptu weapon.

" Good evening Commander Merek. Great performance. Do you mind if I join
you ?" came Na'Rel's voice.

She immediately relaxed, releasing the piece of metal bringing her hand
back to her glass. "No, please cousin, have a seat," she indicated the
chair across from her.

"Do you really think my performance was that good? Or have you picked up
the human habit of being polite?" Keira asked.

(Rely Tyrek)

"Then I thank you for your sincere compliment, I may continue to do this in
the future. Do you commonly habit Karaoke night or has something else
brought you here?"
