(USS Exeter - Captain's Ready Room - 2O/CEO, Commander Keira Merek - 1104)

"I know you won't commander." Trip said standing up and reaching out his
hand to shake Keira's. Keira reached out the same hand returning the
decidedly human custom. Standing as she did.

"Now then Commander, we depart at 1400 hours. I want you in the center
chair taking us back out on the, open 'road' for lack of a better term."

"1400, I have a date with the center chair. Aye." Keira said.

"Dismissed commander, and remember, you earned this." Trip said, concluding
the meeting.

Keira grabbed her PADD, and held the box that kept her old rank pip and
exited the ready room without another word.
