(Exeter –MCO's Office – MCO/3O Lt.Colonel Tyrek Na’Rel – 1556)
“That it does. All I need now is a hostage comm and I can get hostage
negotiators involved.” Ire said.
" I imagine people will think twice about crossing you , if you went to
that extreme over a stuffed animal…a farting one at that." Tyrek joked.
" Perhaps my marines could use the exercise."
Lieutenant Williams shrugged with a slight smile.
“People are bored and do stupid things that they think is funny but if I
need a hostage rescue team, I know who to ask.” Lieutenant Williams replied.
Tyrek turned slightly in his chair and looked at S'Kor.
" I need a few moments with Lieutenant Williams, you are dismissed."
S'Kor nodded as he stood and left.
Once the doors closed , Tyrek looked at Ire.
" How is your combat prowess , in terms of ship to ship combat?"
( reply Ire)
" You're a former fighter pilot and from my understanding you flew the
Exeter in combat on several occasions. Is that correct ?" Tyrek asked.
( reply Ire)
Tyrek leaned his arms on the desk in front of him and folded his hands.
" I reviewed the information on the battles of the Exeter. Also while
serving as the Strategic operations officer, tactical analytics were part
of job. You're most noted predecessor, Lieutenant Commander Ravok developed
a T.A.P. , Tactical applications plan. Where he tied in plans for firing
patterns and usage of weapons delivery into the combat maneuvers of the
Helm officers, Essentially a play book of phaser and torpedo attacks based
on whoever was at the helm. Perhaps you should look over it, he himself was
a fighter pilot. If you'd like I could assist you in learning some of the
firing patterns and even update the T.A.P. " Tyrek suggested.
( reply Ire)
" I'm not trying to brag, but I was a weapons officer, our equivalent of a
tactical officer. So I can help you fully transition into the role, I'd
prefer to spend my free time sampling the intimate company of our ship's
civilians, but I'll make an exception for you, Lieutenant " Tyrek smiled.
