Ailynn nodded. “We have a lot more test to do, but it seems that you and
your team have stumbled onto something. We are seeing beneficial effects of
the nebulonic radiation, but it’s interspersed with periods of more
malignant symptoms. There’s something…I can’t put my finger on. Thoughts
anyone?”
“Well, the obvious answer is that the more radiation there is the more
malignant symptoms. But something tells me the periods of malignancy you’re
seeing don’t exactly line up with the cycles Lieutenant Cortez found?”
Erin sat back and listened to what Parker was saying. A small imperceptible
small crept onto her face as he spoke with some authority.
(Reply Bella, Ailynn)
“Is it possible that there are multiple sources of radiation, and we
haven’t been able to isolate them? So when one wanes, another waxes.
Sometimes the more beneficial radiation comes through, other times it’s
occluded.”
(Reply Bella, Ailynn)
"I think Ensign Parker has a very good point there. Multiple sources would
make some sense. It's now a case of isolating them and timing the
collection of the beneficial radiation so that those collecting it do not
get affected."
(Reply Bella, Ailynn, parker)
"If we can isolate the sources, we should be able to tie in our data so we
can time the collection and get you a schedule, if you would like us to?"
(Reply Bella, Ailynn, parker)
