NRPG: I’ve tried to make this as smooth as possible, but it sort of fits
around Parker’s comments, so apologies for any clunkiness that this may
cause.
RPG:
Mission: Space was cool before it mattered
Day: 1
Stardate: 2446.04.25
(USS Exeter - Main Science Lab - Ens(sg) Gabriella De Luca - 1518)
"We have been looking at the data from the scans you have been running
overnight and found something interesting. "
Bella looked at the screen, allowing the CSO to speak, she’d always been
one to let someone speak their mind rather than interrupting the flow
"As you can see here.." Erin pointed, "... the radiation appears to be
cycling through a defined pattern. The radiation seems to rise to a peak of
3500 becquerel and then drop back down to 500 becquerel approximately every
6 hours."
“I see.” Bella replied, making a couple of mental notes, turning toward the
Commander behind her, whose demeanour was that of someone who was only half
listening, but Bella knew her well enough not to be caught out by that. She
listened as Lieutenant Cortez and the other Science Officer spoke, both of
them addressing the team.

"So, as you can see, with this new information, you should be able to
time, almost to the minute, when to collect the maximum amount of radiation
for your medical purposes or just for further study."
“That may explain some unusual results, and a partial reason why we’re
seeing the results that we are, Commander?”
Ailynn nodded. “We have a lot more test to do, but it seems that you and
your team have stumbled onto something. We are seeing beneficial effects of
the nebulonic radiation, but it’s interspersed with periods of more
malignant symptoms.” Ailynn pinched the Bridge of her nose, feeling the
ridges that were there under the surface of the bridge of her nose, but
didn’t show outwardly.
“There’s something…I can’t put my finger on. Thoughts anyone?”
