Mission: Space was cool before it mattered


Day: 2


Stardate: 2446.04.26



(USS Tom Kazansky - Shuttle Bay 1 - SO Lieutenant T'Gema Vaxis - 0502)





Having difficulty sleeping, T'Gema decided to walk around the ship. The day
prior a shuttle transport from Sol III had brought her to the USS Tom
Kazansky to take her to her assignment aboard the USS Exeter.



T'Gema had spent two months working within the starfleet science division.
Using that time to acclimate herself to life in the Federation and taking
her time to completely transition into the role of a starfleet officer.
During her time in the Romulan Republic fleet she was only posted to
Hol'Kan, a partially operational fleet assembly facility used by the
Romulan Republic to build their fleet. Hol'Kan also acted as an observation
station and central location of the fleet's intelligence operations. Being
assigned there was considered an honor.



After wandering the ship she found herself in the shuttlebay, having no
idea what she was looking at when a voice startled her…




"I see I am not the only one who likes to walk around shuttlebays at the
earliest possible moment." The male said with a laugh.



T'Gema gasped slightly and she started to laugh as well, but at her own
reaction.


" No" she said with a smile. " Apparently not."



"You are Lieutenant T'Gemma correct, the science officer going with us to
the Exeter. Well not the only science officer it seems, but the only one
with Romulan blood."



" Yes that is correct, Well it's Lieutenant Vaxis, but yes and you are
Sayreal ? I only know that because I looked at the list of personnel, more
specifically the family names." T'Gema responded.

" Yours was the only that stood out because my mother worked for the
diplomatic Corp, for a short time." T'Gema said.
