Ire paused from his from his workon the consol.

“Got you, youinsidious little bugger. Our last comms from the Exeter carried a small, simpleline of code, nothing major just enough to stop us sending out.”

 

He looked over atSleeford.

 

“Is that how commsystem became compromised?”

 

“That’s the thing,why, why go to all the trouble, they could have just disabled the system here,there was no reason to send out a virus.” 

 

Ire paused at what Sleefordwas saying. 

 

“Maybe it was a failsafein case T’Kel was compromised before warp power was knocked out

“I guess the planwas to leave us stranded out here but why? Its not like we are anything specialwe are a runabout for prophets’ sake.”
