(USS Exeter – Sickbay - Lt Jg Greta Smith  – 0134)

She had spotted Ravok whilst talking to Ire. Knowing he was grieving, Greta
stood back for a moment. Her mind was whirring with what had just happened.

Ire, the one person in her life hat she had truly loved, would give her
life for was now shying away from here. ~I'd be lying if I said that didn't
hurt. Because It does. I just…. Hope he knows that I will be there for him
when he is ready.~

Coughing gently, she stepped forward and said, "Sir?"

"I'm sorry to disturb you.. I was in the area and …" she paused, Ire's
words ringing in her ears telling her he wasn't coming home.

"Sorry, I just wanted to tell you that… take as long as you need to. I'll
take your duties, your shifts. "
