Sleeford sat for a second, "Well having some maniac try to kill you, kinda
makes you evaluate your life, I saw things that to be honest I never
thought I'd see, she .... she played us like a cheap fiddle. ", Sighing he
shook his head, "We let her play us like a cheap fiddle, Oh give me a few
days I'll be fine. The others,, well I'm not to sure, they where forced to
do things that.. that...."

Sleeford sat in silence for several seconds, taking a deep breath he
nodded, "Sorry sir."

"It's fine. You guys went through hell."

"Anyways this meeting is twofold, I wanted to check in and see how you were
holding up. That was the first goal. The second one was to talk about your
career."

"I was going to give this to you yesterday, that was the plan anyways. I
had filed the paperwork when we left Starbase Freedom, and was gonna hold a
ceremony with your staff, but then well, a murder happened. But now that
things have died down. Well here it is, lieutenant."

Trip then passed Paul a small box containing a black pip.
