Standing for the ops station, Sleeford nodded to his replacement and
crossed the bridge, entering the ready room he approached the desk behind
which sat the captain.

"Paul, take a seat, can I get you a drink, or  snack?"

Sitting Sleeford crossed his legs, "Thank you sir, but no. "

"Listen, I have set an appointment with you to meet with Counselor Jack
Roberts at 1400 hours. Just to get a sense for how you are doing and your
mental state. As I'm the one requesting it, I will have access to his
evaluation, but other than myself and the counselor, it will be private and
privileged. I also want you to set an appointment with Commander Ravok to
give a statement."

"Understood sir"

"How are you holding up?"

Sleeford sat for a second, "Well having some maniac try to kill you, kinda
makes you evaluate your life, I saw things that to be honest I never
thought I'd see, she .... she played us like a cheap fiddle. ", Sighing he
shook his head, "We let her play us like a cheap fiddle, Oh give me a few
days I'll be fine. The others,, well I'm not to sure, they where forced to
do things that.. that...."

Sleeford sat in silence for several seconds, taking a deep breath he
nodded, "Sorry sir."
