Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express

Day:03

Stardate: 2554:12:03

(USS Exeter – Holodeck 3 - CTO/3O Lieutenant Sg Ravok – 0114)

As the medical officer ran to Erin's side, Ravok turned and saw Nesha on
the floor. He walked over to her body and dropped his rifle and sank to his
knees beside his cousin's body. He touched her cheek. She was still warm
but her surface temperature was quickly becoming equal to that of the room
around them. The romulan heartbeat was faster than that of humans. Which
meant their bodies cooled even faster when they died.

The room seems to dissolve around him.

Looking at her he could only think about his father and how he never got
the chance to say a proper romulan goodbye to him.

Ravok leaned his mouth down next to her ear and whispered

" Carry your secrets to Erebus. Keep them silent in the halls. This is
done. Fire and old blood will find you again. Save a seat for me." Ravok
tried to remember the words to the song of Erebus but he couldn't. His
father had taught him long ago.

When he raised his head back up his eyes were met with a terrible sight. He
scooted himself backwards across the floor in a panic. It was Baker laying
there reaching his hand out to him. Ravok closed his eyes.

" Its not him , it's not him" He said to himself. When he opened his eyes
he looked down to his side to see the body of Clarke. He took a deep breath
and asked back towards Neshas body. Gone was the image of his former flight
officer. A cold sweat streaked across his brow.

~ What the hell is wrong with me? Get it together ~ Ravok thought to
himself as he moved back over to his cousin's body and picked her up off
the floor.

" She didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve this." He said as he stood up
with her body in his arms and walked towards the door.
