(USS Exeter – Captains Quarters – FO Cmdr Ailynn Bracken– 2248)

Ravok, assemble a security team that you trust. Seal of that deck, no one
in and out without approval.=/\=



“AAAH C’MON! @#!£$%& REALLY?!!”



Ailynn’s head had literally just touched the pillow.



“On my way Bracken out.” Ailynn swore a bunch more times, exchanging a look
with her cousin, who shook her head then turned over. “Get your b%@$h ass
to work Bracken, you wanted to be the @#!£$%& big shot.”



Ailynn sighed as she pulled on her clothes once more. “I hate you Williams”
she said to Ronnie, a name that she only called her when it was just the
two of them.



She sighed, and sipped at a glass of water that she had no recollection of
leaving by her bedside, and then pulling her hair into a furiously tight
bun, she then pulled on her boots and left her suite, her day clearly
nowhere near finishing.

“Guff in my bed and we have problems.” She said as she left the room,
sticking her tongue out at her cousin.

Minutes later she exited a tingle of pride as she strode past all the
security checkpoints. Allowing herself a smile, she nodded to the sec
officers, it gave her a rush of...well...of pride that she had the
authority to stroll past every security cordon with nothing more than a
nod. They all knew who she was.

She strode into the lab where the incident had taken place. “You know
there’s only so many times that a lady should be expected to have to take
off her bra and put it back on in one day.” Ailynn was exhausted, and her
filter had utterly stopped working.

She fell in alongside Trip, and listened to the brief that those on scene
were already giving.
