(USS Exeter - Ready Room - SOPS Lieutenant Commander Tyrek Na'Rel-1717)


"Yeah, we're pretty good. Though its gonna feel like a new crew. Lots of
transfers coming off, lots of transfers coming on. But what we are Ty, is
we are forged by fire."

~ Ty ? Lieutenant Steward did the same thing. Ironic how they give my
shortened name an even shorter name, perhaps a sign of acceptance? It would
be considered an insult back home , but here it seems to signify
companionship and comfort. ~ Tyrek thought to himself.

Tyrek nodded as the captain spoke.

" I see Sir."

"No other ship in the Fleet has gone where we have gone, faced what we have
faced. It's a good crew, and I am blessed beyond reason to be their
captain."

" I'm sure the sentiment flows both ways Sir." Tyrek remarked.

"Now then, is there anything else?" The Captain asked.

" No Sir, that will be all. Unless you have anything else you require of me
?"
