(USS Exeter - Sickbay – CFO– Lieutenant -Ire Williams - 1309)

 

Ire walked slowly into sickbay,he could see the staff working hard to on their patients. He paused inside thedoor not wanting to disturb the staff but needing to know what was happening. 

 

“Are you hurt Lieutenant?”

 

He was taken aback by thevoice beside him and turned to the nurse who had spoken.

 

“Um no.”

 

“Well Sir. If you are notinjured I am going to have to ask you to leave we are quite busy at the moment.”



“I have just came in on theRunabout with Ensign Page I was wondering on her condition.”

 

The nurse paused for amoment then nodded.

 

“She is still in theatre atthe moment. It’s a bit touch and go but we have some information soon”

 

“How are the others whocame back from the planet?”

 

The nurse paused again fora moment and Ire smiled mentally he had seen that pause before from his parentswhen they had to give uncertain news. 

 

“They are all undergoingtreatment but are not out of the woods by any means. I would suggest you comeback this evening when we will have some new.”

 

“Thanks you.”

The nurse smiled as heturned to leave.

 

“Ow lieutenant.”

 

He turned back.

 

“Yes.”

 

“I would suggest that you getsome rest.”

 

“Thanks you but I have onemore thing to do.”
