(Brocken Bow - Command Compartment – CFO – Lieutenant – Ire Williams-1235)
“ TIC this is Brocken Bow permission to start finals?"
=^=Negative Brocken Bow the pattern is full=^=
He had a sudden and unexplainable desire to buzz the TIC but managed to restrainhimself.
~Pattern is full must be the others coming back~
He had managed to get snippets of inform about what had happened on theplanet and from what he could work out the had achieved their objective, butthey had wounded.
“We`ll be coming in after the others touch down. From what I can makeout they had a bad time and have wounded.”
(Reply Brown, Alexander)
He pulled out wide so that he was out of the flight path to the shuttlebay and headed out towards the returning shuttle.
~Only the Michelangelo. What happened to the Leonardo. Ow hell that`snot good~
“I`m putting us in position to cover Michelangelo in case somethinghappens. I don`t expect any one to be stupid enough to go after her this closeto the Exeter but we are a tougher target then the Michelangelo and can giveher time to get down quick if need be.”
(Reply Brown, Alexander)
He pulled into a tighter turn dropping down from above the Michelangeloso that the Brocken Bow was in formation with the Michelangelo on its rightside. He glanced over to see Merek flying the Michelangelo.
~What happened to the Leonardo? By the Prophets I hope they are okay~
They were fast approaching finals knowing that Merek would be needing toconcentrate on landing he pulled the Brocken Bow out of formation and into atrailing position so that he would land close after her.
“Okay Landing shortly.”
(Reply Brown, Alexander)
He reduced power and drifted into the shuttle bay on thrusters and inertia. He glanced over to see that the Michelangelo had landed, and people were exitingbut only had a fleeting sight of who was getting off before he looked over tohis landing pad and saw a group of security with another group of engineerswaiting for them. With a few gentle movements Brocken Bow settled gently on thedeck and Ire smile to himself for a second as the realization of making it backhit him.
“Thank you both.”
(Reply Brown, Alexander)
He pulled himself together as he put the engines on stand by and openedthe side hatch.
“Billy do you want to take our guest to his new accommodation.”
(Reply Alexander)
“Chief would you mind taking our new acquisition some more secure.”
(Reply Brown)
“I`ll catch up shortly I need to but the Brocken Bow in her properparking position.”
(Reply Brown, Alexander)
He busied himself with post flight checks and running diagnostics tocheck on what damage had been done during the mission. Once he was sure thateveryone was off he sealed up the Brocken Bow powered up the maneuvering thrustersand drifted sideways across the shuttle bay to where the Brocken Bow`s assignedposition was. He landed and powered down the Brocken Bow. He sat there for amoment the gloom of the darkened runabout with the light of the shuttle baycoming in through the main view ports.
~Right then…..now~
“Computer seal the Runabout.”
[Confirmed]
There was a soft click as the main hatch locked tight. He stepped awayfrom the flight controls back into the dark of the runabout where no one couldsee or hear him and screamed. All the anger, frustration, despair, loss andpain came out at once. He dropped to his knees on the deck with his fistscurled tightly into balls as he released everything he had been holding insince he had been captured. He knelt there screaming until his voice was horsebefore regaining control of himself and after a few more minutes he stood up.
“Thank you for bring us home.”
He said softly to the Brocken Bow as he exited the Runabout.
(Reply Alexander, Brown, any)
