(Runabout Broken Bow –FCO – Lieutenant – Ire Williams- 1108)



 

"Ire get us more stable, watch outfor debris." 

 

“On it.”

 

He began firing the maneuvering thrusters trying to stabilize the Runabout without ripping Rylee off the hullor getting her suit holed by shrapnel. He rolled the runabout carefullyinterposing them between the remains of the pods. He heard the sound of thetransporter and glanced over to see Rylee appear on the deck. 

 

~Eyes front. She ‘s okay but we are not~

 

He concentrated on maneuvers which werenow faster then Rylee was on back on board. He managed to get the runabout stabilized and facing the pods.

 

"So, I think it best we tow this back to the Exeter. It's probablywhat

we're looking for, and with Page getting hurt, probably best get her to

a proper sickbay. Master Chief Brown, you've got the experience, and Lt.

Williams, you're the lead, so it's your call. I'll defer to whatever you

decide." Billy said

 

“Give me a second”

 

Ire paused.

 

“One lifesign, definatly one lifesign energising to the secure area.”

 

“Good I want them secure until we get back to the Exeter.”

 

“sensors indicate this may be the genesis device, we need to make sureits offline before we tractor it, its too risky. But we also need to get Rileyback to the Exeter.”

 

“Yes we do.”

 

“I have a suggestion, beam me over, I can make sure the device is clear

and wait for the Exeter or you to come back for me.” 

 

“No.”

 

“With all due respect, I’ve lived my life, you’ve still go yours ahead

of you. Anyone tries to pick me up what are they going to do with an NCO

and an old woman at that?”

 

“I know that Chief, but I am not risking your life by putting you on thatdeath trap. We need to get Rylee back to sickbay. I respect and understand yourreasons, but your life is not worth it. We will tag it with a marker buoy anddeploy sensors probes around it so that we can monitor it. The Exeter had got betterequipment on board to deal with the genesis device safety. We also have thatperson secured on board and I also want to get them off the Runabout before wedo anything else.”
