(Runabout Broken Bow – QM - MCPO – Janey 'Cheif' Brown -1105)

"Chief Brown I want you working the transporters. If we do find someone 
in there I want you to transport them to the pad make sure the proper 
protocols are in place as I don't want any weapons or explosives coming 
on board with them."

“Absolutely understood” Janey switched her screens to the transporters 
and transferred them to the tricorder she had under her console. She 
handed the tricorder off to be handed to Rylee.

As the moments passed Janey felt the tension in the shuttle increase, 
she looked around as the Lt called everyone to check eventually he 
called her.
"Chief Brown ready on your end?"

“Sensors linked to the tricorders, transporters linked through we’re 
good to go.”
Janey was watching as things settled, Rylee was out on the ramp and the 
shuttle was closing in on the pod.

Suddenly the shuttle lurched to the side throwing the crew off centre. 
Janey grabbed her chair and steadied herself trying to skim the read 
outs of damage she had forgotten about the transporters.

"Chief if there is any one inside the pods transport them now or they 
will die of exposure.” Ire called

“Scanning now, the link up from the tricorder is pretty weak, she must 
have dropped it but I have one lifesign, I think. Let me clear it up bit 
for sake please stay steady.”

Janey heard the conversation between Billy and Williams and the EMH but 
she ignored it trying to get a stable link using the sensor data she had 
available. She went to activate the transporter but someone had 
overridden her, Rylee appeared on the floor and Janey had control of the 
transporter again ~seriously~

"So, I think it best we tow this back to the Exeter. It's probably what 
we're looking for, and with Page getting hurt, probably best get her to 
a proper sickbay. Master Chief Brown, you've got the experience, and Lt. 
Williams, you're the lead, so it's your call. I'll defer to whatever you 
decide." Billy said

“Give me a second” Janey called focusing again on the sensors “One 
lifesign, definatly one lifesign energising to the secure area.”

Janey looked again “sensors indicate this may be the genesis device, we 
need to make sure its offline before we tractor it, its too risky. But 
we also need to get Riley back to the Exeter.”

“I have a suggestion, beam me over, I can make sure the device is clear 
and wait for the Exeter or you to come back for me.” Janey looked at Lt 
Williams

“With all due respect, I’ve lived my life, you’ve still go yours ahead 
of you. Anyone tries to pick me up what are they going to do with an NCO 
and an old woman at that?”
