Mission: The flames of purity

Stardate: 2445:09:16

(Gamma Quadrant Planet- Temple grounds - aCTO/COO Lieutenant jg Ravok- 1140
)

After scaling the slope and finding what appeared to be an ancient stone
walkway they finally arrived at the grounds of the Temple , limestone like
structure was smaller than he expected, but still pretty sizable.

" Vespers scan the area, I find it odd no one is out front keeping guard. "
Ravok said.

( reply Vespers)

" So I guess we should just walk up and knock on the door." He said with a
touch of humor.

( reply any)

" That device from the intel reports should be outback. If we sneak around
we could take it before it powered on. But we have to be careful to not
alert anyone, Bracken is still in there. Her signal is still going strong."

( reply any)

" I have this" He pulled out his concealed Tetryon grenade. " If I set it
to go off in five minutes. It should be enough to level the damn thing, any
thoughts?"

( reply any )




" Let's move" He said, leading the team around the back of the structure.
Before they turned the final corner Ravok raised his fist to signal them to
stop. He looked at his scanner. He gave the signal to them that were two
people with the device. He nodded to Ensign More and Lieutenant Foxglove to
dispatch them.

Ravok waited as they moved around the back and dispatched their targets.
Waiting for the all clear from them.

" Coast is clear Doc" Ravok said as he ran around to the device. He took
his tetryon grenade out of vest pocket and clicked the timer into position.
Placing it carefully inside the device. He backed away.

" We got about 15 minutes till this thing blows. " He said to them. " Let's
move in , I'll take point foxglove take the rear. "

The team made their way to a side entrance and opened the door. Inside was
dark and dimly lit. The light casted an eerie glow on the stone pillars
supporting the temple. The gentle hum of electricity filled the air..

was too tired
