Stan walked along thinking to himself. He had been ordered to have counselling sessions by the Captain. The first session had not gone to well. A lot of pent up feelings had been exposed. 

The break up of his marriage two days before the wedding. Had featured heavily in that meeting. Stan had lost his temper, which was a silly thing to do really. He had failed to see how his stupidity. At talking without thinking first. Had anything to do with a mother complex. Brought on by his ex-fiancés infidelity just two days before the wedding. It had been five years ago.

What did Roberts think Stan was. Stuck in the past with a mother issue? He never saw much of her growing up in Edinburgh. His grandmother raised him. Stans parents were to busy teaching or going off on some archaeological dig somewhere in the alpha quadrant. 

He arrived at the counsellors office and pressed the door announcer. Stan waited until he was called to go in.
