Stardate: 2445.12.02
(USS Exeter –Observation Lounge - CTO/3O Lieutenant Ravok- 1202)
"Sorry for cutting into your lunch times. Normally I'd have food service
for this, but I didn't think it was appropriate given the subject matter to
be discussed. I don't want anyone to...." Trip paused, "Lose their lunch so
to speak."
" Who has time to eat." Ravok commented.
Trip then activated his display that attempted to show a timeline of
events. "Now then, we have a dead officer on our hands and a lot more
questions than answers at the moment. So, let's put our pieces of the
puzzle and see what we can figure out. So who wants to go first?"
Without even looking at the others Ravok casted his information on the
holographic displays.
" At precisely 0006 until 0201 last night the ship's internal Biometric
systems and sensors were placed in a state of looped tracking. During this
time several members of the crew reported anamolies in non essential areas.
The arboretum, corridor 132 section B on deck 2, Holosuit 3 on deck 9 ,
several replicator malfunctions are among the most noted performance
issues. Each of these reported events happened during various 4 minute and
8 second time intervals that seemed to be moments of something called a
programming pulse as noted By Ensign Zot. " Ravok paused as he changed the
display
" Call to security from Commander Tyko Nix transpired at exactly at the
0152.37 time index, security officer Suop arrived at exactly time index
0156.58. Security alert was sent to me at 0158 and a command alert was sent
to you Captain at 0200. Here are rh lost of names I have interviewed thus
far, as you will see they are matched with the appropriate security files
that I sent out earlier." Ravok said as the names appeared.
" An engineering maintenance team discovered a metal rolling pin that was
thrown with force inside of a replicator unit causing damage to several of
the isolinear chips inside. Thus leading to the replicator malfunctions
that brought the repair two there in the first place. Security was
contacted and the scene was documented before and after removal of the item
in question. Later DNA analysis determined the blood on the metal rolling
pin belonged to Commander Tyko Nix. Further organic forensic analysis found
that fingerprints of 7 individuals were on the commonly used item. Of the
prints discovered it was revealed that all prints were left in a manner of
proper use of the item. None of the prints collected displayed any angle
concurrent with the item being used as a blunt force weapon. A few strands
of dog hair were also found in the commander's quarters belonging to the
dog of Ensign More. Ensign More is currently off duty after turning himself
into me , although he did not admit guilt he turned himself over on the
grounds of...opinion, suspicion and paranoia and is being monitored by an
independent monitoring system in the event of another hack or security
breach of our systems. " Ravok stopped and looked at them all.
" That's all I have so far. "
