Lieutenant Commander Tinmanrion Jayc

On the surface Tinmanrion Jayc,
nicknamed Tinman by his human friends and simply Tin, is a typical, though less warm, member of his species.

Jayc is practiced in the is art and skills of diplomacy as he has been trained by both the leader of the second house of Betazed and Starfleet diplomatic officer courses.
However, his first love is science partially because of his father and partially because of what happened to his father.

Jayc is the only child of the head of the second house of Betazed. Being a matriarchal society, his mother had him extensively trained in the duties and responsibilities of the homework with the full intention of his assuming the position upon her death.

Their relationship is strained due to his decision to leave betazed for service in Starfleet.

She believes him to be shirking his duties and her will as well as possibly endangering the secrets of the second house of Betazed, which she in know way wishes to be made public.

His father, a warm and attentive father was the first officer of a starship where he gave his life saving the crew that enabled the saucer section to separate from the drive section when the stardrive section was snared in a temporal spatial anomaly. If not for his sacrifice to manually release the saucer section, the ship would have been destroyed.

Secondary degrees in Zeno Psychology and Sociology as part of the command school diplomatic relations courses on Betazed.
Sciences and command school training Starfleet academy.

His goal is to eventually captain a temporal investigations or deep space science vessel.
