(DS4 – Rusty Gold Tavern – - Marine – 2LT Charles Temerity - 1600)
Charles was feeling good about life despite memorial services and wakes, several Marines being
transferred to the base medical facility from the Raptor’s Sickbay, other Marines having to gather their
belongings and depart in the next day or two. He was feeling good because he had survived and not
having to face the Federation judicial system again. And today he was partaking in an ancient activity
enjoyed by mariners and spacers throughout the ages…Shore Leave , but he preferred to call it Liberty.
He was looking around the tavern, recognizing several of the Illuminar crew at different tables along with,
who presumably were, their significant other. Temerity had always gotten a thrill out of seeing people that
were in love, enjoying each other’s company. He didn’t see it in the cards for himself, but he took joy in
seeing others enjoy what he couldn’t. Just then he heard a voice from behind him, “What can I get for
you, Soldier? Coffee, Tea, or Me?”
Temerity turned around and standing on the other side of the bar was a Cardassian woman of average
height with firm build wearing a Rizan style cocktail dress. “Hello Ceska, how’s tricks?” he said with a
smile. Ceska was a fan of Earth’s ‘Roaring’ 1920’s and movies that take place in that time period.
She seductively leaned over the bar, revealing a rather firm cleavage to him as she did so, “Actually,
Gunny; after you pulled my sorry ass off Grayson, and helped me to set this place up, I never thought I
would see you again. I caught part of your trial and heard the verdict. But I thought you were exiled from
Federation territory until you died “
Temerity shrugged and leaned over the bar toward her as he quietly spoke, “It wasn’t all that bad. I
became a freighter captain and got contracted to double as a Federation privateer. Recently I was
involuntarily recalled into the Corps and promoted to second El-Tee. I’m the acting CO for the Marine
detachment on the Illuminar.”
They had had an interesting relationship that had begun when they were both Corporals. Friends with
benefits only when the both of them were single. He was regularly single and she rarely was. Eventually,
she had been promoted over him and later he had leap-frogged her and promoted to Gunnery Sergeant
when she got promoted to Staff Sergeant.
Their faces were clear enough that she stretched her tongue out and licked his lips, “So why are you here,
you devilishly freaky human?”
He gave her a quick pick on the lips and said, “First, tavern business.” He took a quick glance around the
room and pointed out all the tables that he recognized Illuminar crew at, “I’m paying their tabs for
tonight, but don’t tell them.” She just smiled as he continued, “then I want to buy you dinner and catch
up.”
As Ceska said yes, Charles turned His head and recognized some folks from the ship approaching.
(Reply: Any)
Ceska spouted out, "Why don't you join us. I can grab a couple of bottles of Saurian Brandy and some
Romulan Ale, we can grab some take-out and have a version of a barracks party on the upper level of the
promenade."

“Well, my friend. Back to the others,” the doctor responded.
Pihi sighed, she was not a karaoke fan. A bad experience in the Academy, so she avoided it afterwards.
However, perhaps it would be different this time. Not knowing anyone on the ship, the doctor, a senior
member of the crew, sort of adopting her already was refreshing. An encouraging sign.
After checking the map, Quinna headed towards the karaoke “Come on, let’s go.”
They made their way to the bar. Pihi noted that Quinna was a bit on edge. Perhaps the station, perhaps the
drink, but probably the surprise encounter with her classmate.

(Deep Space 4 - Promenade Level - Gurvek's Karaoke Bar - SPA - LT Ariel Trei - 1610)
Ariel was the first to enter the Karaoke bar. It looked pretty typical to any Karaoke bar she ever walked
into. It had all the disco techno vibes with the disco ball hanging from the celling. It had the multicolored
spot lights and side lights reflecting off the disco ball. It had the disco wall paper with multicolored
musical notes pasted to the wall. The floor was a typical disco floor with the color grid scheme. The bar
had the programmed color pattern similar to the floor pattern. It was what one would call "groovy" in the
lingo back then. The group will have a good time here. She ordered a spiked ice tea but not a long island
iced tea. It was way too early for that. She asked for a performance book of what they had to perform
Karaoke in a list. She didn't know what she will choose to perform yet probably something that jumps out
at her.

T’Mur and Sienna followed Ariel into the bar. T’Mur was still wondering what Quinna was up to and
why she left the group. However Ariel was quick to look at the list of songs. Sienna seemed to already
have what she wanted in mind, since she brought her flute. It was doubtful she was going to select a
prerecorded song, and would choose to entertain those present with her own music. T’Mur, herself, had a
surprise in store that she had been hiding from Sienna. But she would wait patiently for the opportunity.
Meanwhile they would wait and listen to Ariel sing.

It seemed Sienna had a song in mind to sing to T'Mur at the Karaoke bar. That was fine with her. She
was always game to sing whatever. She like to sing. Perhaps she can do something with Sienna
accompanying her on the flute. She didn't see her joy of singing as a competition. She just enjoyed to
sing. She will come up with something. She made her way to the Karaoke bar. She could feel the love
between Sienna and T'Mur ever though she was not using her empath ability at the time. She could sense
that Luma will be there in some form and that will be exciting.

Ariel picked something from the song book to start with. She chose Heart of Glass by a popular group in
the 80's Terra called Blondie. The lead singer which Ariel will be emulating now is named Debbie Harry.
It is a fun song to start out with for it has some disco vibes but also rock and roll. She intended to sing a
few more songs after this one waiting her turn of course. She picked up the microphone and explained
the song a bit before jumping into the song.
"This is a fun song to start the night out. I hope you enjoy it." The music track dropped in and she began
to sing.
"Once I had love and it was a gas,
Soon turned out had a heart of glass
Seemed like the real thing only to find
Mucho mistrust love's gone behind.
Once I had love and it was divine
Soon found out I was loosing my mind
It seemed the real thing but I was so blind
Mucho mistrust love's gone behind.
In between what I find is pleasing and I'm feeling fine
Love is so confusing there's no peace of mind
If I fear I'm loosing you its just no good
You teasing like you do
........."
She continued with the song. When she was done she returned to the table being cheered for a good job.
There were a few words that needed explaining. One was gas. In this context gas meant a great time.
Mucho was spanish for a lot of something. She hoped that she explained it well. She sat and encouraged
the next to perform.

As they entered the room, Quinna guided her to a corner table. She pulled a chair to the table and sat
down.
“Leave it to our Ariel to be first on stage. She really does enjoy life.” Quinna said.
Pihi nodded to the others there. She didn’t know the man who joined them. She looked at him carefully,
She applauded as Lieutenant Trei finished singing. Pihi didn’t recognize it, as she preferred more modern
music.
Standing up and deciding she should participate as well, she went over to the stage and selected a song.
A loud, heavy beat of a Sor Hap ‘In started up, followed by the wailing of an electric leSpal. Moments
later a gheb began the tune and Pihi began singing, her voice gruff and guttural.

A night of Karaoke was just what the doctor ordered, and so was girl’s night, even though there was a
male crasher at the party. But Quinna knew that there was more to it than just a male crasher. She knew
that Luma was also involved.
Quinna smiled and took a sip of her drink. She had switched to coffee and away from alcohol. She
smiled as the warm liquid slid down her throat.
“Incredible as always, Ariel” Quinna complemented the young Betazoid/Klingon as she sat back at the
table.
Then Kestral made her move, again singing in Klingon. Wolf 359 had become an old victorious song. It
made Quinna think about the Borg. After the Borg Reclamation project ended and the cube disappeared,
(From Star Trek: Picard) there were no more sightings of them. Then she thought about what Ariel was
trying to tell her. She looked at the staff around and some of them were acting peculiar. Ariel was on to
something.
Quinna looked at Kestral when she returned to the table, “Nice job. You are quite versed in Klingon.”
(Reply Piripi)
“So, Sienna, what do you have planned? Any chance of a duet between you two? T’Mur?” Quinna
asked looking at both of them.
(Reply Verin, T’Mur)
Quinna turned her head, “What about you, Ariel? Do you have another song you are planning?”

Quinna turned, “Temas, do you and Luma have a plan for singing?” This would be interesting with their
unique relationship.

T’Mur raised a quizzical eyebrow, “I am sorry Quinna, we have not prepared a duet for tonight. I believe
Sienna has a solo performance with her flute, and I also have prepared something for me to do
individually. Perhaps, as the evening progresses, we can accommodate your request.”
She looked over at her mate with a twinkle in her eye, “I do believe, however, that that is your cue love.

P’Rah left the ship alone. He was in a foul mood, mourning the loss of his friends in the defense and
evacuation of the Norkan Colony. He hoped that intelligence had gained some useful information on the
Xeno’s so that perhaps they could have better weapons, and better tactics than what they had on Norkan.
The Caitian checked the station’s layout and found where the ‘official’ NCO club was. From there,
perhaps he could find the unofficial NCO club. He needed to be alone, away from the rest of the crew to
decide what he wanted to do next.
He sensed a presence next to him, “You don’t get to go mourn alone, my friend,” the Frenchman said.
“We lost friends and together we will remember them.”
P’Rah put his arm around the man, “Yes, of course, my friend. I was being selfish.”
“It is nothing, friend. For good or ill, we stick together. As my great grandfather once said, ‘Les victoires
sont plus douces et les défaites moindres car nous formons une équipe.’”
P’Rah nodded as they reached the NCO club. There was a strange vibe in the room, a buzz one might
say. The two took two empty stools at the bar. P’Rah wrinkled his nose, it smelled sweet in the room, an
odd smell. “Do you smell that?” he asked Devers.
“You have a better nose than I.” he replied. He motioned to the bartender, “Two suffering Bastards,” he
said.
P’Rah raised an eyebrow.
“A drink from Earth. From the Second World War in the 20th century it was popular of the British troops
in the desert,” he said.
The two drinks were placed in front of them. Devers lifted his glass. The buzz stopped as the other
NCOs looked over, knowing the ritual.
“Let us not forget our fallen comrades, but remember them always, for they have earned our respect and
admiration with their lives. We knew them, we remember them, and they will not be forgotten. To our
fallen comrades.”
“We remember them,” P’Rah and the others said solemnly.
The two Illuminar security officers turned back to the bar and finished their drinks. Two more appeared
in front of them as a man took the seat next to P’Rah. “Tough loss?” he asked.
“Yes,” P’Rah said. “Tough loss.”
He slid a token to P’Rah. “Deck 17, sector 7.”
P’Rah nodded. “Thank you, friend”.

(DS 4 - Promenade Level - NCO Club - SFI - Lt. Michael Weston - 1705)
Weston had managed to extricate himself from the Med Center. There were too many people asking too
many questions, all of them a little late. The doctors had not been able to save the server, whom he had
learned was named Charlie Ladel. Poor Charlie’s death had been intense to watch and horrifyingly swift.
The doctors had managed to extract a sample of a substance from his blood, but there were elements of it
that they were unfamiliar with. Whatever it was, it was not made in this part of the galaxy.
The doctors showed him a room with four other bodies that died from the same compound. It clearly had
hallucinogenic qualities to it. But the molecular structure allowed it to adhere to the individual’s cells and
then… they didn’t really know what effect that it had on the cells, but clearly it was, ultimately, the cause
of death.
Michael thought how odd it was that in these modern times there were still those who chose, or needed,
some form of chemical stimulation to entertain themselves or give themselves pleasure. You’d have
thought that people would have learned, through experience and education, that it was just a black hole on
the soul of humanity. Perhaps he had a hard time understanding as it had been a long time, if ever, that he
had a daily life like one would find on a starbase or a planet.
So he found himself wandering around the promenade, trying to be aware of the shadowy figure that he’d
seen at the lounge. Logic would dictate that he might want to visit the other hot spots of entertainment on
the station. That would be the most likely place to find the illicit activities that he would find, even under
typical circumstances. His wanderings took him to Gurvek’s club. Coincidence? He didn’t particularly
believe in coincidences. Serendipity? He knew that the Cardasian was worthy of way worse than illicit
drugs, and may well simply be trying to eliminate his competition. But this drug had to go.
He wallked into the bar and heard the music blaring from the stage. The woman who had been with
Quinna earlier was on stage grinding out some kind of Klingonesk song. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what
he would listen to in his spare time. But she was certainly into it. The song ended and his ears rang
slightly in the sudden silence. He watched as she made her way back to the table, and his eyes fell upon
Quinna.
He knew that she was on a women’s retreat, but he wondered what the harm would be to drop in and
maybe get a question answered, or at least listen to whoever else was going to sing. The next performer
was not from the Illuminar, and he regailed the crowd with a horrible rendition of a popular song. This
almost hurt his ears to listen to.
Sliding in behind Quinna he leaned forward, “How is your evening out going?”
(reply Quinna)
“Mind if I sit for a moment?” he asked.
T’Mur turned around and looked at him. “Technically it is a…,” she looked at Sienna and then back at
him, “girl’s night, and you do not meet the criteria. However, since Luma has permitted Mr. Laredo to
join us as her proxy, I suppose a temporary change to the party would be allowable. Especially as I am
allowed to be here with my mate. You should be allowed to be here with Quinna.”
Now it was Michael’s turn to raise an eyebrow. Were he and Quinna considered “mates”? Perhaps it
appeared so to those close to them… well… to her.

He sat in a chair behind Quinna and leaned over her shoulder, resting his head on it. “What’s happening,

Quinna was sitting there when a pleasant surprise was suddenly by her.
“How is your evening outgoing?” His whisper sent a shiver down her spine. Something she has not felt

Quinna reached her hand to caress his face, “My evening is getting better and better by the minute.”
“Mind if I sit for a moment?” he asked.
Quinna felt lucky for the empty chair next to her …
T’Mur turned around and looked at him. “Technically it is a…,” she looked at Sienna and then back at
him, “girl’s night, and you do not meet the criteria. However, since Luma has permitted Mr. Laredo to
join us as her proxy, I suppose a temporary change to the party would be allowable especially as I am

“Looks like you have your answer.” Quinna smiled.
He sat in a chair behind Quinna and leaned over her shoulder, resting his head on it. “What’s happening,

took in a deep breath and took in his smell. “You smell good.”

The pilot watched as Quinna spilled her drink all over her. The doctor excused herself to clean up the
mess. Too bad she would miss her next performance. Fortunately an unwitting victim had arrived. She
didn’t know the relationship between the doctor and the new arrival. They seemed somewhat intimate,
noting how he put his head on her, and sat behind her, possessively.
She slammed her Star Duster down in a gulp and motioned to the Karaoke manager, who nodded. She
stood up as the strains of an old Earth love song, “Chantilly Lace” began to play. A spotlight shone on
Pihi as she began to dance seductively.
“Oh, you're my Starfleet boy, strong and bold, In your uniform, you're worth more than gold. You're the
one who makes my heart race, In your starship, you've found your space,” she sang as she moved around
the room, touching a shoulder here, a hand there.
“Starfleet wings and that daring grace, You're the one who sets my heart's pace. In the cosmos, in your
warm embrace, Boy, you've got me in this love chase.” She moved with grace as she continued to circle
the room, like a lion looking for its prey.
“You're the captain of the starry skies, With your tricorder, you're oh so wise. In your eyes, I've found my
place, With that wisdom and that loving embrace,” Pihi continued, swaying seductively.
“Starfleet wings and that cosmic grace, You're the one who keeps my heart's pace. Through wormholes, in
your warm embrace, Boy, you've got me in this love chase. I don't need jewels or earthly pearls, All I
need is my favorite Starfleet in this world. We'll explore the galaxy, face to face, In the infinite space, our
love's embrace.” By now she returned to the table where she started.
Moving around the table, she sat in Michael’s lap and planted a wet kiss on his cheek as she sang, “You're
the hero of the final frontier, In your arms, there's nothing to fear. With every mission, we'll embrace, Boy,
you light up this celestial place.”
Wiggling her bottom in the man’s lap she continued. “Starfleet wings and that starry grace, You're the
one who quickens my heart's pace. Through black holes, in your loving embrace, Boy, you've got me in
this love chase. Starfleet wings and love so true, Boy, I'm so glad it's me and you. With you, life's like a
cosmic embrace, Oh, my love, you're my saving grace.”
She threw her arms around him as she finished the song, smiling at him as she did. The pilot noted that
the man was getting interested in her actions, noting the subtle, and not so subtle signals he was trying to
hide.

“Oh you know, A little of this and a little of that.” Quinna started as she lightly stroked his cheek. She
took in a deep breath and took in his smell. “You smell good.”
Michael leaned into the hand on his cheek and smiled, “I do what I can to impress my lady.”
“Want to plan a late dinner tomorrow, I already have lunch plans,” Quinna said. “An old med school

Michael moved his head to look at Quinna sideways, “An old classmate? That’s a coincidence.”
“And he kissed me.” Quinna said between drinks, looking a little uncomfortable at the admission.
“Reeaally,” Weston replied, suddenly looking serious. “Maybe I should meet my competition.” A
moment later he broke into a smile. “Maybe we can fight over you.”
Quinna spilt her drink on herself and stood up. “Let’s talk later. I need to go clean this up.”
Michael watched her walk away appreciatively. Then her new friend went up to the stage to perform. He
was not familiar with the song that cam on, but she clearly was. As the spot light hit her and the music
started she began to sing and dance. It was an up beat song and had a beat. Michael watched as moved
off the stage and around the room. He was pretty sure she was ad-libbing the lyrics, since he was sure
there were few songs about “Starfleet boys”.
As she sashayed around the room she wound up at the table where their group was sitting. She stopped in
front of Michael and turned around, waving her backside at him then sat back onto his lap, kissing him on
the cheek.
Michael frowned at first. Typically he preferred not to be touched by unfamiliar people. In his line of
work it was just safer. But he had relaxed a lot of his instincts since he’d joined the Illuminar… and of
course, Quinna was instrumental in his desensitization. The thought of Quinna made him realize what
this woman was doing as she rubbed herself on his lap. The frown returned for a moment later as she
threw her arms around him as she finished her song. He had thought that this woman was Quinna’s
friend.
Then a thought came to his mind, and Operative Weston woke up. As the song ended Weston changed his
demeaner and he pulled the woman into him and kissed her on the lips, hard and passionately, curious as
to how she would react.
He pulled back and looked into the tattooed face, “Is that the reaction you were looking for?”

(DS 4 - Promenade Level - Gurvek’s Karaoke Bar - CMO Commander Quinna Solice - 1715)
Quinna was dabbing her blouse with some water. She jumped when the door opened. She had thought
she locked it behind her. Ariel came in, needing to use the facilities.
“Are you ok?” Quinna asked.
(Reply Trei)
“Of course, I will get out,” Quinna said as she exited the restroom.
Quinna could hear Kestral singing again. She did have a great voice and the song was catchy. She turned
the corner to see the performance as well. She stepped back so no one could see her but she could see
everything. Quinna tried hard to control her anger, but this was crossing the line.
With others distracted, Quinna approached quietly. She had hoped those who could sense her approach
would not call her out. However, they know how she feels about others reading her. Quinna was able to
hear all that happened after the song.
Michael grabbed Kestral. He kissed her in a way that said more than any words could.
Michael asked Piripi, “Is that the reaction you were looking for?”
“IT CERTAINLY WASN’T WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!” Quinna said rather sternly, but not overly
loud. It was that low tone a person has when you know that they were more than just angry. It was that
‘Oh Crap,’ Tone.

Quinna grabbed a drink and did the classic tossing the drink into Michael’s face. Michael was sure to
evade her slapping him.
Quinna then took Kestral by the arm. She pulled Kestral off on his lap and pushed her away. “It is your
lucky day… if this is the goal you wanted.” then Quinna uncharacteristically went to slap the woman but
ended up punching her instead.

(DS 4 - Promenade Level - Gurvek’s Karaoke Bar - Pilot Ensign Pihi “Kestral” Piripi And CMO
Commander Quinna Solice - 1720)
“Is that the reaction you were looking for,” replied the man who’d just kissed her back.
“I’ve had better kisses from a Koala bear,” she replied. Suddenly she heard Dr. Solace “IT CERTAINLY
WASN’T WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!” she said in a dangerous tone.
Before Pihi could respond, Quinna tossed a drink into the man’s face, splashing Pihi with the liquid. The
doctor was clearly mad, all over some fun flirting.
She felt a hand on her arm, pulling her off the man’s lap. Quinna pushed her back, and Pihi stumbled a
bit, the push and the alcohol making her unsteady with the sudden actions.
Before she could say something, Quinna continued, “It is your lucky day … if this is the goal you
wanted.”
Pihi began to speak, but was cut short as Quinna punched her. Pihi’s head snapped to the side and the
pilot fell to her knees.
All the sudden motion got to her and Pihi heaved, vomiting up her drinks and the partially digested food
spilling out of her mouth and onto the floor.
Quinna had scared herself with that reaction. She dropped to her knees. Quinna realized that she had
gone too far. "Crap." Tears started pouring out of Quinna’s eyes. A waiter came by and Quinna grabbed
the ices drink and the napkins. She put the ice in tehh napkins and places it where her fist met Piripa’s
face. She used another napkin to clean the woman’s face. “Lets get you to sickbay.”
Quinna stood and tried to help Piripi to her feet. “I am sorry that I hit you. Please let me help you.”
Pihi looked up at the woman. And tried to get up. The sudden movement caused her head to hurt and she
fell back to her knees as the dry heaves started.
Quinna offered her hand.
Pihi took some shallow breaths and reached for Quinna’s hand. She grabbed it tightly as she made it to
her feet. “I knew I didn't like karaoke,” she said dryly.
Quinna could not help to laugh though her tears. “Lets get you fixed up, and then you can tell me what
you were thinking.”
Quinna only looked back at te table only to say, “Do not follow, Weston.”
“Thinking?” Pihi replied. “It's all your fault. You dragged me here,” she said . “Woah, can we so
slower?” She asked.
Quinna slowed the pace down. “You are so right, God forbid I wanted to be your friend,” Quinna spat
sarcastically.
“Best start to a friendship,” Pihi said. “You punch like a girl, you know.” She tried to smile when another
bout of the dry heaves started.
Though Quinna was still crying, “I will take that as a complement.” Quinna said, but she was still furious
with the personal dance she gave Michael. “What possessed you to… Michael…” Words were getting
hard to formulate.

(DS 4 - Promenade Level - Gurvek’s Karaoke Bar - SFI - Lt. Michael Weston - 1721)
“I’ve had better kisses from a Koala bear,” Piripi said coldly.
~You’ve had a lot of experience kissing koalas?~ Michael thought, choosing not to verbalize that opinion.
Then a loud voice came from behind, “It certainly wasn’t what I was looking for.”
Michael almost jumped in surprise. He’d hoped he’d have had a moment to show Quinna that he was
teaching the over-amorous woman a lesson in discomfort, as she was attempting to create for him. Now
there was an air of discomfort for everyone. Timing was everything. And right now, the timing was a
little off for Michael Weston.
Before he could stand, turn, or say anything, a drink flew at him. Quinna had grown quite quick with her
training with him. He let it splash across him but didn’t move. Quinna pulled the woman away and then
made a half punch at her. He assumed it was an ill-fated attempt at something else. Even angered she
wouldn’t right cross somebody in a fit.
The woman hit the floor and her drinks and food from the evening's entertainment emptied from her
stomach. Now Michael moved to avoid the vomit covering his feet.
Quinna knelt down beside the vomiting girl, now in tears for her own anger and actions. She was in
doctor mode, helping the girl up to leave the bar. She shot a look back at him as the two left and said with
a tone of finality, “Do not follow, Weston.”
Michael’s own eyes narrowed in anger now. “Don’t worry about that sweetheart.” It was really to
himself than to her, and the term was not meant to be one of endearment. She would have that attitude
toward him, and yet render aid and caring to the one who caused the issue. He shook his head, wondering
if tomorrow was too soon for a dinner date. Twenty-four hours was a long time, and a great deal could
happen between then and now. However, no plans had actually been set.
He shook his head and picked up a napkin from the table. Wiping his face he turned and tossed the napkin
down. He looked at the others and saw the look from Verin. If she had her way, he’d be keel-hauled
across the outside of the station, without an EVA suit. Whatever. He didn’t care what she thought. At
this moment he didn’t really care what any of them thought. SFI Operative Michael Weston was in his
mind now.
He looked over at Trei, who seemed to be the only one who was interested in the truth of what had
occurred. He shrugged at her and said, “I’ve got better things to do than this. I’ve got investigations to
complete.
Trei looked over at him and said, “Mr. Weston, shall we plan to solve the bee behavior problem.”
Now Weston was confused. ~Bee behavior?~ “I’m not sure what you mean about bee behavior, but I do
know why there is some odd behavior on this station. And if I’m being honest with myself, I’m at an
impasse. I could use a little assistance. But I need Ariel Trei, the part Betazoid empath, not Ariel Trei,
the blood-lusting Klingon. Which shall I have on my quest?”
(reply Trei)
“I need to regroup my thoughts,” he said. “Let’s meet in the morning. There’s a cafe on Level 2 of the
Promenade. We can have breakfast then go from there.”

Ariel watched Quinna go ballistic on Kestral. She saw Quinna punch Kestral in the face and saw the
aftermath. Kestral tried to get up and yakked up her drink consumption . Quinna attended to Kestral and
told weston to not follow them. That gave Ariel the chance to work with Weston on the bee behavior
situation. She would meet with him for breakfast tomorrow but its better to form a plan now
"Mr. Weston. Shall we plan to solve the bee behavior problem."

She saw the confused look on Weston's face. Apparently he did not know of the specific bee behavior
that was going on in the station. That will be discussed at breakfast tomorrow. The cafe Weston spoke of
sounded lovely. He said he wanted the Betazoid Enpath and he will have that but there are no guarantees
if the Klingon will come out or not.
"Good. I will see you then. What time do you want me to join you?"

(Deep Space 4 - Promenade Level 3 - Gurvek’s Karaoke Bar - 2O/CSec/Tac Lt. Commander T’Mur -
1724)
T’Mur watched the scene between Piripi and Weston unfold. She was taken by surprise by his reaction of
pulling the pilot in for a stronger kiss, and unsurprised by Quinna’s reaction when she returned. She
could feel Sienna’s anger towards Michael Weston surface as her protective instincts arose.
::Easy love. Quinna is a big girl and can handle this on her own. Should I advise the station commander
to deactivate all of the airlocks on this level?::
(reply Sienna)
However, she could feel that the excitement of the moment had left. The only remaining members of the
party were themselves and Ariel Trei. It nolonger felt appropriate to do what she had planned. And
Sienna would not be in the right mindset to hear what she wanted to say.
Disappointed by the unfolding of the situation and her planning falling through she looked at Sienna,
thinking that it was best that they left. She turned to Ariel.
“I am sorry Ariel,” she said, “but I believe that has brought an end to the positive feelings of this
gathering. I think it best that Sienna and I take out leave.”
(reply Trei)
T’Mur stood up and held her hand out to pull Sienna out of her chair as she brooded on the possible
disposition of Michael Weston.
“Come love,” she said, “I wish to find a way to cheer you up and I think I may have it… in our quarters.”
She shot an image of her plans for her mate through their link, and watched the Betazoid flush slightly.
Then she moved quickly, pulling the Vulcan along to leave the bar.”

Kestral and Quinna entered the infirmary. Quinna was starting to think about her reaction and knew it
was not her. The psychologist in her made her own thoughts. She turned in hopes that she would see
Michael.
“What did we have here?” Bradley said as he entered the exam room. “Looks like you were in a bit of a
bar brawl. Did you see who did that?” he asked pointing to Piripi’s face.
(Reply Piripi)
“Just fix her,” Quinna said as she started to pace around the area. She kept looking for Michael.
“Calm down, Q-Cup,” Bradley said.
(Reply Piripi)
“I feel like I am in a ‘A Midsummer’s night dream’ You kissed me out of nowhere, and the man that I am
…. He grabbed and kissed ‘Miss Not-So-Innocent’ over there.”
(Reply Piripi)
Then Quinna made a revelation about her feelings. She turned and looked back the way they came. “I
am not sure what got into you but why did you kiss me?”
“Trust me, it was not a thrill for me. Thought you of all people would love the kiss but I was actually
avoiding someone.” Bradley started.
“You are a jerk,” Quinna said.
“Trust me, you are no peaches and cream,” Bradey said back in a condescending tone.
Quinna then smacked Bradley in the eye. It was nice and red. “Thanks for not helping.” Quinna took
Piripi’s hand. “Come on, let's just go back to the ship.

Quinna helped Pihi to the station infirmary. With her stomach empty, she was starting to regain her
balance. Sitting in the exam room, she was trying to figure out Quinna’s reaction. She stepped into
something deep. She wasn’t even sure she knew who the man way.
“Doctor Solice,” she began as the doctor from earlier came in.
“What did we have here? Looks like you were in a bit of a bar brawl. Did you see who did that?” the
man said,
“I met the business end of a table,” she said, as Quinna interrupted. “Just fix her.”
"Calm down, Q-Cup,” he said and turned his attention to her again.
While Dr. Bradley worked on her, injecting her with some medicine after scanning her.
She listened while Quinna and the doctor chatted back and forth. She decided to tune out and started to
make a dash for the door when Quinna grabbed her hand and pulled her back towards the ship.
She made it to her quarters and vowed to not go to another Lady’s night.
