Mission:  The Tholian Brief

(Starbase Freedom - Level 11 - Main Medical Center - ASC - Lt. Andy Taylor
- 1259)

Taylor followed Solice and Trei out of the room and stood, leaning against
the edge of the door jam.

“I am going to stay with Michael,” Solice said, stating the obvious.  “Do
you two think you can find out the story about what happened?  Perhaps
there were some recordings.”

“Sure,” he replied. “We can dig around.”  He didn’t really think they’d get
anywhere with station security nor any recordings. After all, what would
they notice that was out of place?  But he did have some ideas of what he’d
like to do

“I want to know what you find, but I also do not want you to go behind the
investigators' backs." Quinna said.

“Trust is doctor, we will be the paragon of diplomacy,” Taylor said with a
smile that would melt a normal woman’s heart.

“I trust you two,”  Quinna assured them.

"Come on Andy,” Trei said.  “Lets give Quinna alone time with Michael.  The
first place to check is the security center.  We will look at the base
video feed for clues on what happened on the base."

Taylor watched Quinna reenter the treatment room and looked at Trei.  She
got awfully familiar with him in a short time.  He shrugged the thought
aside and let that go.  He was fine with familiarity.  He just wondered how
far that would go.

Then he shook his head and said, “I don’t really think that will help.  I’m
sure that the security people here on the station went through any
recordings they have, and they know this station and what would look “off”
far better than we would.  We can talk with them, and if you insist on
looking at video recordings feel free.  Personally, I’d rather see the
scene of the crime, as it were.  We should probably stop off at the site of
the bombing.”
