(USS Illuminar - Deck 1  - SecO, Lieutenant Galk - 1117)

Galk had returned to his duty of being the Captain’s bodyguard after the
Brikarian had transferred from the ship. The loss of one so formidable was
a blow to the security department, Galk also considered him a friend.

The klingon didn't always have to be on the bridge and was currently moving
from the lounge area that contained supporting bridge crew that could be
called in for relief or emergency. He was headed to the galley and a bowl
of gagh.

=^=Trei, Pex, Galk, and Bohb, Grab your go bags and meet me in the shuttle
bay in 10 minutes.=^=

He rumbled unhappily prior to replying. "Understood. On my way." There
would be no gagh for lunch today.

He had stopped by the armory long enough to check out a phaser rifle. Not
his preferred weapon, he would have preferred his dak-tang and a disruptor.
When in the Federation one had to play by their rules.

And that is why he had returned wasn't it? To shed much of the unthinking
savagery that had clung to him from his time in Sto-Vo-Kor and to relearn
honor, not the honor of bloodlust but of restraint.

"Commander, Ensign, Lieutenant Trei." He nodded to each who had preceded
him. It was not in doubt that to have the heads of two klingon houses
caused the captain to do a delicate juggling act as well as diplomacy with
the fleet behind the scenes. But this is what that Vulcan excelled in.
