(USS Illuminar – Deck 1 – Bridge – CO, Captain Sekal - 0807)

“Lieutenant Temerity request permission to enter the bridge.”

"Permission granted." Sekal replied without turning his head at the voice
of the marine first Lieutenant, his eyes were currently on the screen.

"Is there any other information Doctor Gralen?"

"Not at this time sir, I'm scanning for material density and composition
but a complete workup of the construct will take more than a day most
likely and the closer we get the more sensors I can bring into play."

"Acknowledged. "

The vulcan tapped a button on the chair arm. "Captain's log, stardate
twenty four, forty six, zero nine, zero one. The science department has
discovered what appears to be a ring world in the Beta Ostri sector, the
ship is currently ahead of schedule so I have diverted course in order gain
a more thorough and comprehensive look at the construct."

He turned off the log and gave the bridge a thorough inspection from his
seat, everything was being run at near peak efficiency. Satisfied, he
turned his attention to the padd of reports being handed him by yeoman
Whitney.
