(USS Illuminar – Deck 2 – Officers Mess – Ensign Torek, Operations – 1807)



Torek listened to James when he saw Tavay enter the mess.  She made her way
to the table and sat down.



“Hello there.  I see you have met my old roomie,” she said.



“The bunk is still there if you feel the need to share,” Shaw replied.  “Do
you miss my snoring?”



"So what is the topic da jour?”



“Mr. Shaw was just starting to tell me about the ship.”  Torek said.



“You know, all the secrets of the Illuminar, like where the Scorch might be
located.  I wonder who’s signed it recently,” Shaw added.



“I am quite hungry.  I am happy you decided to meet here.” Torek watched
her order some food.



“Well Ma’am, I hope you are still willing to show me around the ship.”
Torek said.  “I have met with the First Officer and learned about the Luma
and I am being seconded to help a Lieutenant Bobh on a project I feel I am
not qualified for, but if it adds to the order on the ship, I will do my
best.”
