(USS Hillary - Flight Deck - Pilot Vic 'Raid' Montero - 0901)

VIc's sensor panel started going wild.  Sliding over to the science 
station, he began to make sense of the data when his com badge chirpped.

=^= *Pateur to Hilary, we are preparing to head back to the Illuminar 
with our… cargo.=^= came Snoopy's voice.

"Copy that Snoopy.  Check your scanners," he said.

The field was too strong for them to make it through successfully.

"Computer, extend the scan, how bad is the ion field overall?  Is there 
anyplace where the density decreases to within safety margins?"

[Working]

Montero watched the sensors as the computer started the scan.  Shaking 
his head he knew they were here for a while.

[Ionic field is increasing in strength and depth.  Speed of spread 
indicates no successful egress point at this time]

"Damn," he said as he sent the data to the Pasteur.

"Pasture. Looks like we're here for a while," Montero said.  "At least I 
can get caught up on finishing the tactical analysis by Nasty and Badger 
on the latest orion single seat fighters."
