[... that is an order, we have no choice. Evacuate the ship immediately.
I'm going nowhere, I'm already dying.]

The figure coughed convulsively as he bent over and the image disappeared.

His eyes were drawn to a dark spot on the floor mere inches before the
command chair and the tricorder was scanning as he crouched over it. "As I
surmised."

=^= Kyllee to Captain Sekal, I believe I may know where most of the crew
are.=^=

He replied to the hail. "Please continue."

=^= There are twelve Tellerites here in the med center, they’re all dead. I
cannot tell you how they died yet. Some look like they just… died. Others
look as though they suffered some kind of trauma. I can give you a better
assessment shortly. =^=

"Quickly doctor, we may not have much time."

His attention was drawn to a log being played from the security console.

[... as a precaution we transported as many of the unaffected to the
surface in hopes that they can survive long enough to explain what has
happened here. Communication systems are no longer functioning, fried by
the last ion flare from the planet. The ship has been positioned so that
only someone actually looking for us will find us. Hopefully they’ll have
better luck than we had. End log.]

 “That did not sound like a positive report.”

"Indeed, take the helm." he said as he returned to a standing position and
switched off the tricorder.

He engaged his communicator. "Doctor Kylee there is evidence of a contagion
aboard, we may already have been infected."

He signed off and addressed T'Mur.
"Communications will be a priority once we are clear of the interference."

(Reply: T'Mur)

He activated the override command on the holographic display and spoke.

"Federation Star Fleet override Alpha 6, 5. Captain Sekal, override code
Omicron, Beta 5, 3 blue. Transfer command and control to my order."

The sound of the klaxon was accompanied by the flashing of the red alert
lamp.

[Unauthorized override access request detected. Self destruct has been
initiated. Self destruct in 10 minutes.]

He raised an eyebrow and attempted to countermand the sequence. "Computer,
Star Fleet command override Alpha, Ceti 3, code blue, subset 5A."

[Unauthorized override request, self destruct in 8 minutes.]

He slapped his combadge. "All personnel evacuate to the shuttle
immediately."

(Reply: All)

He fell into step behind T'Mur as they raced for the turbolift.
