Mission: For Honor

Day: 6

Stardate: 2446.04.29


(Qo'nos - Main Hall - ? - 0800)


He looked down from his place of concealment at the assembly on the ground.  Such a large gathering of Klingons, as well as the Federation contingent.  It would have been historical if the plan wasn’t to turn it into a launching point for their expansion.


He lifted the weapon to his face and looked through the modified telescopic viewer, first finding the quarry, then finding the ally.  The ally was close to the quarry. He would have to wait for the right moment.


He looked at the rifle again. It was a modified, Federation issued sniper rifle. The power signature of the shot will be easily traced to the Federation. A wedge will be thrust between the Klingons and the Federation that not even the new hierarchy could quell. The only answer would be war. A war that neither side is prepared for.


Then, while both sides were busy with each other, the opportunity for expansion would present itself. But the start of that begins today.  Now.


The sound of the crowd began to wane as the Chancellor stepped into the Great Hall. He moved to to the center of the room. The rifle came back up and the red dot of the telescopic site found its target.  Now all that was needed was the perfect moment.
