Mission: For Honor
Day: 5
Stardate: 2446.04.29

(Qo'nos- Diplomatic Quarters - SecO, Lieutenant Galk, Son of Jos of the
Imperial House- 0940)

“Hold still, I can at least assume you won?”

His lips split showing formidable teeth. "You may. This cut is small
compared to the strike I made on Eshag who is now without a head."

There was a prolonged tingling sensation as the dermal regenerator was
passed over the length of the cut but the procedure wasn't over quickly as
it was deep. The Ambassador, Captain and new science officer were in deep
discussion on the diplomatic situation as Quinna worked with the Ambassador
arguing vehemently on his own behalf until Lanista pulled the CO away to a
corner.

“So do you want me to leave you a battle scar or do you want your skin as
smooth as a baby’s bottom?”

That pulled a throaty chuckle from him that was so deep it appeared to
reverberate from his loins.

"Every scar remaining from a battle of honor is a source of pride, leave
it. If I had no scar to display how would those who listened to my tale
believe my words?"

(Reply: Quinna)

The conversation between Lanista and Sekal caught his attention. Perhaps
the Ambassador was hard of hearing but Galk was not and he was closer.

"Show them, through me, that you ARE willing to fight for … something — and
that I am your proof of intent. None of this, of course, needs to be true.
It merely needs to be convincingly sold. The price won't be paid in
darseks, however. It'll be in concessions."

"She speaks the truth Captain." Galk thundered. "tlhIngan Hol: qoH vuvbe'
SuS!. The wind does not respect a fool but qoh, fire consumes all. If there
is no qoh then there is no respect." He looked to the Ambassador. "I have
taken the measure of Chancellor Morek and those that follow him. They are
taH'qaq, honorless! The Chancellor plays his own game of kling'zha for
conquest and he is playing you to that end."

(Reply: McKenzie, any)

His laugh rumbled through the room. "The House of Eshag was the largest and
I have taken it from him along with his life. With the Imperial House and
the House of Mohg arrayed against Morek along with allies his offensive
will grind to a halt."

His eyes traveled about the room. "And I will go to war against him to
ensure his plans of conquest do not reach the Federation. The Kittomer
Accords will not be broken as long as I draw breath. Not all of the heads
of Houses are taH'qaq." He remembered vividly Pe'tah's words to Morek. [...
what is decided now does make a statement of our honor.]

"We have an ally on the Council and his word will sway others."

Timing is indeed everything for as he was finishing his sentence the door
opened and Pe'tah entered carrying a war hammer, a weapon not often used by
a ThIngen warrior.

“Ah, I am so glad that your doctor made it here. I gave her clearance to
come straight here rather than through the regular channels to be excorted.”

The heavy hand caused him to flinch a bit.

You have certainly caused a stir my friend. I haven’t seen that much
activity in the council in such a short time in… well… ever. It was a
moment to rival the stories of Kahless. How do you fare, Galk?”

Galk's teeth showed in a smile. "I feel glorious. Your assistance saved my
life Pe'tah and I am in your debt."

Pe'tah address Commander Solice before moving to Lanista.

(Reply: Quinna)

“My friends, I believe that whatever struggles you were having before,
your officer has just created an easier path. I have seen a great shift in
the Council this day. It shall not pass quickly. I think much blood will
be spilt. It shall be glorious.”

Galk smiled as he nodded his head as Pe'tah returned the hammer to the
science officer.

Quinna was finishing up as Pe'tah addressed all.

“The Council has been dismissed for the day to contemplate todays…
proceedings. However, they will meet with you tomorrow morning to have
another… conversation. Decisions will be made at that time. I hope you find
this delay acceptable.”

"As I said, Councilor Pe'tah is honorable." Galk rumbled. "They attempted
treachery during the fight and without his actions we would not be alive."

His gaze was directed to Pe'tah. "I propose alliance between our houses and
any who will stand with us. Morek must be brought to heel and his ambitions
quenched. Within the week I will be recalling the majority of my forces
from Romulan space, no longer does he command the might of the Imperial
House."

(Pe'tah, Trei, any)

He spoke then to Lanista and Sekal. "Turn her on Morek and those that sit
with him. He will be besieged on all sides and forced to reach an agreement
of peace." His eyes grew murderous. "And in time he will have to be
replaced so that honor may be restored to the Empire."

(Reply: All present)
