(Qo'nos- Diplomatic Quarters - Minister Pe'tah - 0935)

The last thirty minutes had been the most intriguing Pe’tah had experienced in all his years on the Council. In a short time family bonds had been broken, and some had been made. Alliances within the houses had shifted and support to Morek had already begun to shift away. By the time Pe’tah had left the Hall he could not help but laugh.

When he entered the Diplomatic quarters he was still smiling, and carrying a large war hammer that he had taken from a member of the security forces that had been drooling over it. He had an idea of where it had come from, since if such a trinket had been discovered on Qo’nos it would have been news worthy and probably started a new religious revival.

He saw that Galk was already being treated by the Illuminar’s medical officer and made his way to that corner of the room first.

With a heartly hand on Galk’s shoulder he could not contain his mirth, “Ah, I am so glad that your doctor made it here. I gave her clearance to come straight here rather than through the regular channels to be excorted.”

He could see the big Klingon wince a little at his hrd touch then lifted his hand up, “You have certainly caused a stil, my friend. I haven’t seen that much activity in the council in such a short time in… well… ever. It was a moment to rival the stories of Kahless. How do you fare, Galk?”

(reply Galk)

Then he looked at the doctor, “I am certain that he will heal quickly under your ministrations doctor,” he said.

Then he turned to Captain Sekal and the ambassadorial team and moved towards them, “My friends, I believe that whatever struggles you were having before, your officer has just created an easier path. I have seen a great shift in the Council this day. It shall not pass quickly. I think much blood will be spilt. It shall be glorious.”

Then he saw Th’Lanista, the giant Klingon/Vulcan woman and moved towards her, swinging the war hammer by his side, feeling its weight adjust his gait.

“And this,” he said, swinging the hammer into a two handed grip, “must belong to you. Such a treasure should not be left to those unworthy to hold such a magnificent weapon. I can almost smell the blood of the dead on its head. Oh wait, that might be from the one it took this from, who had been boasting about how he acquired it.”

He held the hammer out towards the woman, with a glint in his eye. It had been a long time since a real woman stirred his loins. This was a true warrior. He wondered how it would be to subdue her to his desires. A small growl escaped his lips, but then he remembered his purpose.

He turned to the company and announced, “The Council has been dismissed for the day to contemplate todays… proceedings. However, they will meet with you tomorrow morning to have another… conversation. Decisions will be made at that time. I hope you find this delay acceptable.”
