Mission: For Honor
Day: 5
Stardate: 2446.04.29

( Qo'nos- Diplomatic Quarters – Lieutenant Galk, Son of Jos of the
Imperial House and CO, Captain Sekal - 0920)

He stood before the Commanding Officer of the USS Illuminar who had been
called out of a meeting with the Ambassadorial party abruptly and was
processing what he saw.

Galk was a bloody mess, the wound on his cheek had closed being shallow but
the entire left side of his face, beard and mustache was crusted. The
injury to his left arm being deep had not.

Galk's forearm all the way to his fingertips was wet and blood still oozed
down to drop with audible plops upon the floor. What was the term humans
used? He looked like hell. But he was alive and because he lived the Vulcan
made a logical inference.

"You appear to have won your challenge Mr. Galk."

Ariel Trei held a bloody Bat'leth in one hand so the weapon which he had
used victoriously was quite obvious.

"Yes Captain…"

Sekal cut him off abruptly by tapping his communicator. "Medical send
someone to treat Lieutenant Galk, he is bleeding profusely."

(Reply: Quinna)

"We are in the diplomatic quarters. I will see that he remains here until
he can be tended."

(Reply: Quinna)

That done he ended the communication then gave Galk his full attention once
again. "Continue."

Galk gave a guffaw, the Vulcan was predictable. "I have killed Eshag and
Lieutenant Trei one who attempted to assist him. The Imperial House is mine
as is the House of Mohg hers."

(Reply: Trei)

Galk nodded. "Her Rite of Ascension will take place in two days. I expect
the Council to give greater weight to your mission now and I will insist on
it."

An eyebrow quirked. "You sit on the council then?"

"As head of the Imperial House, yes. Lieutenant Trei will have a seat as
well if she wishes it."

(Reply: Trei)

That possibility had not escaped Sekal and he looked from one to the other.

"Fascinating! In the space of an hour the two of you have drastically
changed the political landscape of the Klingon Empire. And what are your
immediate plans Mr. Galk or should I add Councilor to your name?"

Galk shrugged and winced as a bolt of pain shot up his left arm. "I must
take personal leave from the ship for a time Captain to reorder my assets
and holdings. There will be resistance to deal with as well. If my father
still lives he can watch the affairs of the house during my absences."

The Vulcan inclined his head in understanding. "Your leave of absence is
approved,..." he spoke sternly as the Klingon turned to leave, "..., after
your wounds have been tended. When you have recovered to the satisfaction
of Doctor Solice you may leave the ship to order your affairs." He didn't
ask why the head of a Klingon house would wish to serve on a Federation
starship… there would be time for that later and perhaps Galk had not
mentally processed the repercussions of that decision yet. He would give
him ample time to consider it before broaching the question.

Galk turned a glare on him which lasted only an instant. "I will need to
use any available communications to send out orders and directives."

"You have them." Sekal turned to Trei and gave her a searching look. "And
what are your plans Lieutenant?"

(Reply: Trei)

The hum of a transporter carrier wave rose nearby as a medical specialist,
having recieved permission to beam down was en route to their location to
treat the warrior who was now regretting he had not taken the time to bind
the wound on his forearm earlier. Klingon pride sometimes exacted a cost.

(Reply: Quinna, Any available for the job)
