(USS Illuminar - Deck 14 - Security Offices - SO CPO P'Rah - 1705)

After leaving the body with Medical, and getting ordered to produce a 
report for the Chief, the Caitian headed down to to the security 
offices.  Grabbing a small room, he opened the terminal and began to 
dictate his report.

"I reported hearing strange noises while standing guard outside the 
Diplomacy.  It sounded like something or someone trying to be stealthy. 
I estimated it to be five figured  Based on that report and the strange 
smells that Ensign Long had reported, she made the decision that we 
should explore.  CPO Devers stayed behind while Ensign Long, Crewman 
Chinlo and myself headed down through the grate near the diplomatic 
quarters.  "

He paused as he thought what to say next.  "We began an exploration of 
the ventilation shafts, while pursuing the noise.  We heard some 
additional, different, noises, and saw some fleeting figures.  Our 
tricorders were not functional for some reason, so we had little 
information while we explored. We moved through through the tubes, and 
reaching a T-intersection, the tube we were in broke loose and the 
Ensign was dropped to a lower level. She ordered Crewman Chinlo back to 
report back to you while I was to explore along the tube I was in. As I 
pushed forward, I eventually smelled blood.  Following the smell, I 
eventually found Crewman Chinlo's body.  It was clear her artery was cut 
and she bled out fast.  I didn't see any tracks or obvious blood 
splatters, so I took the body and brought it to the surface.  End report."

P'Rah listened to the report before putting his signature to it and sent 
it to the Chief.

The smell of the blood on his uniform bothered him. With the report 
sent, he headed to the NCO quarters to get cleaned up before heading 
back to the surface.
