ILLUMINARRPG: (4-1530) CEO Tegian Pex

(USS Illuminar - Exterior  - Shuttlebay Entrance - CEO Tegian Pex- 1530)

As Cadet Ocano started to work on the shuttlebay door track fasteners,
Tegian contacted Ensign Waffles in Main Engineering and arranged for two
more crews to join them out here with the proper tools.  He then called to
arrange to have one of the transporter rooms set aside for their use and to
have all eight members have a continual lock and to have their vitals
monitored at all times.

He then had Ensign Waffles arrange to have two new tracks replicated in the
shuttlebay in preparation and to inform Lieutenant Bohb and Commander
Dieter of these actions and Tegian would be out here with his team, if
anyone needed him.

Finishing that, he turned back to the job at hand.  A bit more than three
hours later, his team had more than surpassed Tegian's expectations.  There
had been a few mistakes, with a couple of nearly lost tools, but no one had
gone floating free.  Both sides finished freeing their tracks at almost the
same time and moved them through the shuttle bay doors.  Once that was
done, the teams cleaned the area behind the old track in preparation for
the new one.

The teams wanted to push out the new tracks, but the timer that Tegian had
set went off, so he called a halt.  There were mutters of protest, but he
was insistent.  He'd been out there for four hours, McGuyver and Adams for
longer and he knew that he was exhausted.  He didn't want any mistakes.  He
called in for Beta and Gamma teams to replace them.  And then, instructing
everyone to unclip themselves from the safety lines and gently push off, he
instructed the Transporter room, to bring them all in, him last.

(USS Illuminar - Dec 4 - Transporter Room 1S - CEO Tegian Pex- 1920)

He felt the familiar tingling as he watched everyone disappear and he found
himself on the transporter pad.  He counted bodies and found seven, eight,
including himself.  "Okay, everyone back to the shuttlebay.  We need to
return the suits.  Then, those in the Alpha shift are off duty.  Beta
shift, you get to check the suits after a rest and food break.

(USS Illuminar - Dec 10 - Main Shuttlebay - CEO Tegian Pex- 1930)

Tegian made it to Deck 10 in the second turbolift trip down since they
didn't all fit together.  Walking into the shuttlebay, he noted that the
new tracks were sitting on anti-grav packs.  Tegian chuckled and looked
around for Bohb, but didn't see him.  Most likely that was his idea.
Tegian had wondered how they were going to move them.  The old tracks had
already been cut into smaller pieces and were being moved to be scrapped,
anti-grav packs attached to them.

Tegian followed the rest of his team towards the airlock and found plenty
of willing hands to help him out of his suit.  Once out, someone handed him
a cup of something hot and a protein bar.  He nodded to the rest of the
teams.  "Go, get some rest and thanks for doing a great job out there."

Tegian wandered back over to the beams to see them slowly being ushered out
to four new teams.  He watched it slide all the way out before turning to
find a bathroom and then a real meal at the officer's mess.

(USS Illuminar - Dec 11 - Main Engineering - CEO Tegian Pex- 2000)

Tegian walked into Main Engineering.  This was Gamma's shift and he didn't
know any of them by sight, but he did know some of their names.  Ensign
Vermyx led this shift and Tegian knew him, but he wasn't here.  There was
an Ensign here.  "Ensign ...?"  "T'lan, sir."

"Sorry, Ensign T'lan, I haven't met all my staff one on one, just yet.  Can
you please update me on the rest of the repairs?  I know where we are with
the shuttlebay doors."

The Vulcan Ensign nodded.  "Certainly.  All turbolifts are operational.
All reported power coupling failures have been repaired.  All fire damage
on Deck 9 has been assessed and was deemed minimal, however, repairs have
not yet been made as all available personnel are working on the shuttlebay
doors.  We still have three crew from the Alpha shift recovering from
burns, none are serious, but rest was advised.  They can return to their
duties tomorrow.  Ensign Zowie sent a report to you before she went off
duty."

Tegian blinked.  "Thank you, Ensign.  That was very concise.  I'll be in my
office, if anyone needs me.  Please verify that the transporter room is
monitoring our people in EV.  I'm going to send an update to Commander
Dieter, read Ensign Zowie's report and then call it a night."

"The Commander has been getting updates every hour, Lieutenant.  Ensign
Zh'Firre started it, so Ensign Waffles continued and since things have
quieted down, I've been filling out the reports knowing that you were busy."

"Noted, Ensign," said a very relieved and pleased Tegian.  "Thank you.
Then you can update the report noting that the new tracks for the shuttlebay
doors have just been pushed into space.  We're ahead of schedule."

Tegian walked iinto his office, sat down and started to peruse Ensign
Zowie's report.  She reported that the fire suppression sensors for decks 9
through 11 had been rerouted to decks 1 through 3.  Then the systems were
shutdown.  So, any attempt to engage with them, would show that they were
working as the sensors would read for the different decks, but even if a
fire was on one of those other decks, the fire suppression system wouldn't
have engaged.  She also reported that it appeared that the command codes
appeared to come from one of the Ambassador's quarters.  But, she noted
that anyone that who had done something this clever should have been able
to cover their tracks and that she had more work to do.

Tegian encrypted the report, and sent it to Commander Dieter, marked
urgent.  He then hit his comm badge.  "Lieutenant Pex to Commander Dieter.
I just sent you an encrypted report about the fire suppression systems.
Ensign Zowie made some progress and it's troubling.  I thought you should
know what she's found, even if it's not complete."
