(USS Illuminar – Holodeck One - ENG/ENSjg Dano Vermyx – 0845)

ACONN Alex Dyson and SO Kelly Long were in Holodeck 1, and had arranged to
meet up with Ensign EO Vermyx — who sauntered into the large compartment
dressed in a specially-replicated, setting-accurate "Battlestar Galactic"
Colonial pilot's uniform.

Dano "the Kronk" Vermyx had played in several scenarios of the setting with
Alex. Vermyx had even learned to play the card game that was popular on the
big "aircraft-carrier" vessel. The game was called 'Triad' by most, and
'Pyramid' by the older personnel. The cards themselves were hexagonal,
which was odd since it made them hard to shuffle (or do tricks with).
Triad(/Pyramid) wasn't as fun as Fizzbin, and it was hard to kirk at. But
Alex wasn't much of a gambler, preferring to play for fun, and Dano didn't
like kirking his friends. (There also wasn't much point to cheating if
there weren't any real stakes to play for.)

"So … Dyson! Dice-Man! Dicey-O!" Vermyx said, not really yet knowing what
the meeting was to be about. "Whatcha have in mind f'r t'day? More
toaster-bustin'?"
