Kelly hadslept through his conversation with Vermyx. ~Good, she needs sleep.~ Gettingsome shuteye would make her feel better. He kissed her on the forehead, thentapped his combadge again.

 

“Dyson toWeston.”

“Can you meet me at holodeck one at oh-nine-hundred ?” He began. “There have been developments…” ~Unsecured channel.~ “…regarding Project Longinquus.” Longinquus was Latin for Distant Relative. ~Weston is a sharp cookie, he’ll get the hint.~ (Reply Weston) “Understood. Dyson out.” He closed the channel, just as Kelly woke up. “Good Morning, sleepyhead. Feeling better ?” “Much,” Kelly was indeed looking much better, “So, planning a trip to New Romulus ?” He nodded his confirmation. ~She wants to come along.~ “So, when are we going ? And don’t bother arguing with me, I’m coming. Period.” “I was expecting nothing less.” He paused. “I’m going to ask Ensign Vermyx and Lieutenant Weston to come along. Dano is my friend and I trust him to have my back. And he has connections in the wrong places. As for Weston, having a spook along might be a way to legitimize this little field trip.” “Sounds like a plan. So, how late are you meeting them ?” “0845.” “Good, that means we have time for some fun.” Before he could answer, she kissed him and rolled on top of him…

Alex andKelly walked into the holodeck, hand-in-hand. He had a PADD in his other hand.Now it was just a matter of waiting for Vermyx to show up. ~Here we go.~
